I really need help on the linking of attacks and movement in attacks

when you execute an attack. .. you need to ease out the force. . . i mean (ex. an uppercut, you need to have a timing first on the hand that will land the attack. .)

I also realize that I have problems with ease and force, and I also realize that this was also posted in the " Beginner's " thread, and that I used "also" twice, thrice that is. :)

Run on sentence FTW!!

Okay I've honestly been dreading asking about this, because when I realized I was having this problem, I felt like an absolute idiot. So here's the thing, I've been trying to work on a test animation and an actual starter fight animation, and I honestly have a really good grasp on everything considering how new I am to it. Really, I'm actually surprising myself. Except I'm having an issue with a key feature, that being that... well... See this is the embarrassing thing, drawing the actual stick figure. I don't know how in the hell it is that I manage to screw THIS up out of all things, but my attempts always seem to lead to either badly proportioned monstrosities or end up looking like a big blob of a mess whenever I try something besides a normal standing position. I would completely understand if there's no way help can be given for an issue such as this, because I honestly think I'm probably just partially brain dead for failing at this.

Hmm, try picking up your mouse/pen after drawing each limb of the stick instead of drawing them in one motion. That might solve the blob problem

Unfortunately that's been the way I've done it from the start. I feel I must be missing something absolutely obvious. Or I'm really just THAT bad of an artist.

Hmmm, trying either doing headfirst or body first to figure out which one is easier

Can you screenshot a picture of your stick?

I do believe I've figured out a new method that might work. I'll update later once I give it a go, thanks.

Good luck Fortune Snowman :)

I prefer body first. Or else you have to animate at like 60 fps

hello, I'm trying to increase my pace in animation. When I say increase my pace, I mean the action! I want my characters or "puppets" as I call them to move faster so their combo's can look cooler!
sadly, This is about as fast as I can get at the moment http://www.filz.us/view/11cfaa89-b2c/
I made this today and it's the highest speed I can get my characters to move at the moment.
I want them to move similar to something like oxob's BSEv3 round 10 or Frozens Treinando, but I just don't get it! I've tried to make their movements come out faster, but I usually screw it up and it has made me a coward when it comes to speedy actions. Please help! please, please, please, please!!!!!

I've been working on both liquids and also with lightning here: http://www.filz.us/view/efdbaaa7-8f1/

Any criticism or suggestions?
