I'm a beginner so what kind of animation should i start with?

I am New to this website and new to Animation i use Flash. i would like to know the answer to the following Questions:

1. How do u keep Your stick men The same and move them so well throughout a Whole animation.

2. When your Doing this Are you Redrawing the Stick man throught the Whole animation.

Anything you like.
Try animating a stick walking, or running, doing jumps and stuff. The basics.
Look up some tutorials in the tutorial section.

1.We use onion skins, it's a little button in flash 2nd one next to the delete layer button.

2. Yes, Most of us redraw the stick everytime. I myself put the head in a graphic so it doesn't change size.

i knew about the onion skin but Wow the Animation redraw every time is crazy.

also how do u guys draw your like Swords and backgrounds so Detailed!

Hi guys! I was wondering, cause i'm new to this if i can get some .fla files of basic stick movement such as walking,running, jumping, fighting or special effects like speed animation. so that i can practice my stick animations?

i just got flash today, and i was wanting 2 know how u guys keep your stickmen the same size throughout the whole thing. even with onionskin on i end up changing the size of something every time i redraw them.
