I stopped "pivoting" because when i posted animation, I had to wait couple of days to get a reply. And I think of going back to just because i can't sit here and watch the thread i'm here for, die. (Check out my avatar). I don't know why everyone is using Pivot just ONLY to learn the basics of animating and then skip to Flash. I have Flash, and i don't use it because i still believe in Pivot community. It's there somewhere. It breaks my heart watching it literally die.

We really have to do something about it. We can't just sit and do nothing.

if any section isbeing neglected, its eztoon.
Im entirely for sections being clumped together in unification to end the whole segregation sharade.
This, as mentioned before, can also be a nice opportunity for animators of other, more uncommon programs to post their work.

I know about easytoon but we're talking about pivot. I didn't realize it was dead until i came back on the forum. I was away for 6 months. When I saw the situation I realized that it was alive before (it was huge). It's not alive if there's 10 people using it. Imagine a "Pivot only" forum with 10 people in it. It's dead.

I think combining the sections is a great idea.

At the end of the day everyone is animating stickmen, the fundamentals are the same; with an area so specialised as stick-animation it seems counter productive to further split the community.

The skills are transferrable, the quality of animations will improve on both sides from a cross-over.

Chimaera you've got the point. But most members don't think that way. I would love to see combined sections btw.

Erm... maybe the Easytoon and the Pivot section could combine... I'm not sure about all of them all together.

Don't mean to sound pretentious or anything (an honest question), but do we actually have pivot animators who are consistently able to give helpful critique? And if we do, do we have enough?

Well I'd consider giving Pivot CC. If I get a staff position. *wink*
