After the relatively good qualifications poll turnout I expected this to go better. I just have to say, you should've expressed yourselves before I wrote 25 biographical notes and prepared documents for the whole thing. This has been a huge waste of my time, then.

I'm not generally a quitter, but because at this time of the year with finals and a sudden need to raise a lot of money for college (but that's a different story) I need to focus on doing things that are generally accepted by the public... We're deleting the polls, closing this thread and we can all move on with our lives. Fortunately, I'm the biggest loser here so no one should be too affected.

Wait, did you announce that you were doing this before? Because if not, I don't really see the source of your complaints.

And who says all that work goes to waste? Once again, I still think the idea of a Hall of Fame is great. You can still use those 25 biographical notes and prepared documents that you have for them, right?

Yes, but I don't want to. It's a completely different thing. I don't want to "round people up at a table" and have debates. I've done that before.

Period. Over. Done. Finished. I'm out of patience and ESPECIALLY time. I mean, when I started this I still had SOME time, now I have none at all.

EDIT: I am happy about one thing though... you like the idea of judges more than voting... Where were you people during StickPage Tournament? lol

Well, now that you put it this way, I may seriously give it some thought. I probably need to take some time to relax and make a second decision. Thanks! I guess I should read some old threads from the times I wasn't even fortunate enough to get articulate criticism. I only got censored f words. lol So yea, I'll try to keep an open mind around here, guys.

Whenever I did the SP Awards, no one made a fuss over the legitimacy of each award and whether or not the winners "deserved" what they won. It's all just a bit of fun and I think most people realize that. This isn't about objectively determining anything, it's essentially a popularity contest and the format of this contest reflects that. No one is hurting anyone, so you might as well just follow through with it.

Most important thing is being left out right now, however.

Who is going to make the sigs for the winners?

Nobody really remembers those, TheWhiteSmith... or me, for that matter lol What I did on StickPage was basically some cinematic collabs with a few people who I ended up becoming rather close friends with. :) I ain't no Pluto. :P But I see I got a bit of a cult following heheh xD Besides, the internet progresses very fast. People move on really fast. Lately it's been a very cold, shallow place. heheh

Oh don't get me wrong. I'm just stating my personal opinion. If you really want to do it, then go ahead. Like Exilement said, it doesn't hurt anyone. Personally, I just think we should deviate away from contests like these and actually make a hall of fame that we can continuously add to over the years, but I don't think anyone will be offended if this follows through.
