Yeah, I'm pretty nervous about switching classes because

A) I didn't go to open house, so I have no idea where they are.

B) The school enforces a 3 minute standard, as in, you have 3 minutes to get to your next class.

EDIT: I'm not worried about bullies, I can stand up for myself. And I'm not even necessarily worried about grades, either. When you finish the program you get a scholarship to GA Tech or something.

They probably expect most people to have a hard time finding their classes. But still, >=[

My school has a five minute bell so I get to go to the bathroom between every class.

Sucks to be you.

Okay, I'm going to be a freshman next year and I'm wondering what highschool is really like.

I don't mean like 'just work hard and you'll get through,' I mean like 'You transition classes like ___ and lunch is like ___.'

I know the work is going to be ****hard, and I'm not going to have any time for friends and shit, yet everyone is saying it's going to be the best years of my life for some stupid reason, I don't get it.

Where I live things go like this.

Elementary School:
Kindergarden
Grade 1
Grade 2
Grade 3
Grade 4
Grade 5
Grade 6
Grade 7

High School:
Grade 8
Grade 9
Grade 10
Grade 11
Grade 12

I just finished my year of Grade 8 and I'm going into Grade 9. I miss Elementary school to tell you the truth, the worst thing about high schools is Lunch.

You know how your always outside playing sports like football and stuff for lunch? In High School usually all you do is sit inside with your friends and talk.

Boring.

My life has and will be like this:

Elementary School:
Pre-K
Kindergarten
1st Grade
2nd Grade
3rd Grade
4th Grade
5th Grade

Middle School:
6th Grade
7th Grade
8th Grade

High School:
9th Grade - Freshman Year
10th Grade - Sophomore Year
11th Grade - Junior Year
12th Grade - Senior Year

College until I get a major in something.

I just finished freshmen year, this past semester. It's extremely easy to slack off, as I have. But if you find the right friends, and do your work, then it should be a breeze.

Hey Guest, may I ask you a question?

Did your former school have a 8th grade graduation for your class?

I'm going in to my senior year at highschool next year. The best advice I can give is to have friends that you can count on and stay away from people who bother you or have a bad repututation.

As for the school work, its about the same only theres more responsibility and less attachment with the teachers. They may try to scare you in the first week by saying how much harder it will be but really they are just trying to get you in good habits.

Just find someone on the first day with the same or similar schedule to you. Maybe you'll luck out and they'll know exactly where they're going. Otherwise, there will be two of you late or whatever and it'll be easier to take.

I don't remember too much about freshman year in highschool as it was ages ago. But I'll tell you right now that freshman year of college is way harder.

Maybe for you it isn't.

But for me it is. Ask Strong2 he lives 10 minutes from me.
