Guz had put in effort into his animation for BSE and he put in his own ideas into executing the collab. The CnC that Judge 1 has given to Guz is COMPLETELY contradictory. Back in 2007, the "awkward-looking" posing and etc for connecting combos has been a thing and was, in the eyes of us noobs before, natural. But saying that Guz's movements were confusing or odd is completely disregarding the very person's personal preference and style. Sure some of the movements looked odd and don't even make sense. But why should you base your judgement on that?

Also, Jan has a much higher score comparing to Guz with a 5-point difference. And basing off his Judge 1's review, it is VERY biased.

Either he is very bewildered to the fact that Corn originally thought of the "debt" storyline in BSE V4, or he completely ignored it and thought that Jan was original in almost every way. No, that is going way off context. Also, "best sunglasses"? I don't know if that is a part of the score. But then again, "creativity" aspect. And also, did Judge 1 not realize that Jan had pretty much ripped off Guz's BSE into his? Not only is this the biggest conspiracy with this round's BSE, but the main problem with judging. And that leads to another problem.

Ezy could've easily gotten a VERY high score, in my opinion. It's original, the style is hilarious, song creation, and combo execution. But the way how judge 1 wants the style to go in a certain way, that isn't how a judge should judge. Never should they force their scores out on personal opinions such as style suggestion or etc.

Dialogue should never be considered a "break" inbetween combos. The way how the guy considers dialogue to be a major break is so dense. For example, let's say that someone does the combo very nicely and adds a short dialogue in the middle of the combo. Would that be considered something that causes a major breakdown for a BSE entry? Seriously, in the way how Judge 1 would consider a dialogue an interference, that would mean that the "dialogue" action would have to be included in the BSE combo itself just so that us animators can add in some talking.
NO. YOU SHOULDN'T.
Dialogue is our own option! We can add dialogue anywhere we want! We know how much dialogue is necessary and we know what we're doing. Considering that dialogue interferes with anything is making yourself look like a "dense motherfucker".

There is a lot of other scores that just seem out of place and are either based on personal opinions or looks aside from the Creativity, Originality, and Humour factor. But having scores literally being at 0 and at 0.5 decimals is going way over the top for many people who actually put in some time into making a BSE. Seriously, not only should the 3 main factors be judged, but effort, referencing, time management, dedication, and ambition should also be in effect and accounted for for many of us. Mainly going for the main 3 is gonna bring in a lot of biased comments and ratings.

TL;DR.
You need judges who actually looked through the previous BSE versions. As well as animation outlook and profession. Not to mention looking at the little details, emotions of the animator, and etc.

Judge 1 isn't being fair, he's just giving pretentious scores. How is it the 2 other judges are giving a completely different score almost every time?

Most of them???. I only heard 1 example, there are 70 other entries which I think are pretty fair, 1 of them is unfair... If we're going to compare versions, there were a lot of discussions in V4 about scores being unfair, a lot of them each round.

Sorry Yun, but don't make a whole civil war because of 1 unfair score over 70 entries.

If you want, I'll ask the judge and give further explanation about this especific and only confussing situation.

@Surf tell that to the other guys then, it seems like the score is REALLY important to them x-x. If most of them are not agree with it, then I'll ahv to chose other judge(?).

Keep the judges, if anything make the marking criteria a little clearer to avoid future confusion. But I feel like judge 1 should at least be given the chance to justify themselves before any decisions are made, I thought they were consistent but it seems most disagree.

omg dude, you want me to freaking explain all the entries? I'm not even the judge I'm trying to guess what was in their head when they were evaluating. The scores ain't changing anyways, I don't know why am I trying to make you all understand that this is to help you all improve. I'll just leave this here discuss anything you guys want, idc anymore.

He is not the only one you know,and there are more ones with illogical scores,its not your fault camila.
In the end of the day all what we hope is to get better and improve, but I gotta say if the same scenario happens in the r2 a lot of people will drop off and r3 will be a competition between 7 to 12 dudes lol
