so how about that azir
Aug 27, 2014 5:30 PM #1237363
I'm hyped as fuck for him. But my biggest surprise was that they were releasing another champion so soon after the last one, and the gap between Braum and Gnar had been a good five months or so.
But I have enough IP to buy Azir from day one so I'm looking forward to maxxing CDR and conquering my foes.

he looks kinda hard to play but I love the concept. strategy master kind of guy. I assume he will scale well with ap and attack speed, which is kinda unusual but refreshing. I imagine nashor's tooth will be beast.

So I'll need a build for Lux. I still don't know how build her. I think athene's unholy grail should be great, followed by mejai's, sorcerer's shoes, archangel's, Rabbadon's, lich bane, and void staff. It's good ain't it?

All I have to say.

Is it my opinion or lately a lot of "free mobility champions" are coming out?
Like, it's true that they made Velkoiz, but the last ones who came and are coming are all champions who can bypass walls like bitches or if they meet the proper requirements (Yasuo, Braum) or freely (Gnar, Azir)

Azir can't pass through a wall himself, though.
And I think that high mobility champions are a good thing. It's a lot more fun than only being able to run (unless you're Udyr)

grail is a primo pick for lux, but you'll probably have a slow start with it unless you grab a doran's ring. mejai's... only if you're really steamrolling. grab your boots and then rush rabadon's instead, in most cases. lich bane: very yes. void staff, only if their MR is becoming a problem. liandry's is also a good choice for mpen if they aren't really stacking MR but have a generally tanky/beefy team - for the health shred, too.
i think aiming for maximum CDR (40%) is also a great idea on lux, because then you can pretty much spam your ult (not to mention the rest of your abilities). take a look at some of the AP CDR items to fill the last two slots. morellonomicon is one idea there for example, especially if they're heavy on the sustain/heals.
a crazy idea: make spellthief's edge your starting item, upgrade it to frostfang, then grab your chalice and spam spells like crazy. finish athene's, get your boots, finish frost queen's claim, then rush rabadon's. you'll be rolling in money and have a cheap 30% cdr to go with your tons of damage. this is what i do as support lux, it might not be viable at mid lane... but it could work if you can deal with the trade off between spellthief and doran's ring.

That counterplay doe
I have played Azir and there is literally zero micromanagement with his soldiers. You basically have to WQ anyone you see and the fact that he has low mana costs doesn't help his situation. Rito loves #toomuchmobility Lol. :>

Too much mobility means also that nobody ever cares anymore about position management
Why do I need to play smart since, as a Ahri, if I over-extend and they gank me I can wuushy-wooshy back to my tower in 1 second?

I'll try both out. Thanks scarecrow. Heck I might even do mid lux with that build and see if it's okay for the people around my level.
