Playing early game mini Gnar feels so useless

Never played Gnar, but a few of my friends its fun to handle, most of my friends think not. Still, I dont want to use it since Its some kinda ADC

You can use him as a tank, somewhat. He also has stuns and slows so that could make him a support.

Teemo counters Gnar just saying. And it depends if Gnar's health was low just before he turned beast then I can see why they thought they could engage but just to be safe I don't.
