So i tried veigar today because it's his free rotation this week. He has a pretty weak early game and I mostly had to hug the tower 80% of the time but damn if he's fed, he wrecks so much. His ultra is the best ap nuke IMO.

Yeah, he has one of the strongest mid game bursts! The Q actually does a lot of damage early so you should try using it to trade in lane instead of farming your stacks. Then if you rush DFG you can basically almost one shot anyone. He's easily countered late game though and he's one of the squishiest champions too so it's really risky late game lol.

I'm not really taking this too seriously. I just don't understand how you can call something bad when you've never used it before. Even if you've seen someone else play Sion, isn't it possible they were just bad at him?

Take Lee Sin for example. He's a great champion but if someone who wasn't particularly good at Lee Sin were to play him they would probably do terrible. That's not because Lee Sin is bad, but because he wasn't used properly. The same goes for Sion.

I'd argue that. There are a lot of skills like that on a lot of champions. Yea he's easy to dodge and easy to miss, however you can at least stop it unlike some other ults.
And even if you do miss, you are now right on top of them if you do it right. The point is you are THERE in the fight from across the map.

Funny thing about Sion though is that this one game this sion was really nooby and ulted straight past the enemy and went to the nexus and died. And it's one of those games that drags on forever. We got their nexus turret and a lot if their nexus health but we all died except for sion who just revived. The enemy has all 5 champs alive and ready to kill us but then Sinon just straight up ulted to the nexus and finished it. It was pretty lolzy and the enemy is like 'op sion'. Haha

Veigar is the strongest late game carry mid, because with his infinite stacking he can even burst down tanks late game.
He's my main champion really, and once you start to get a hang of him you can start being aggressive even in the early levels.
What I do is farm and poke with the Q, they'll usually have to leave early and if I have the gold I'll get a chalice (stacks nicely with his passive).
This allows me to outsustain almost all of my mana costs, so I can start poking with the E-W combo as well. If they have merc treads you will want to get to level 3 of the stun or the meteor won't hit.
Once they get to about half hp at lvl 6 you can go all in and kill them.
Then destroy their faces with snowballing.

I love the part when they call Veigar a noob champ and they die miserably.
