View Profile E3 was terrible. I just quit after they claimed that hardline was next gen, better than BF4.
Besides battlefront 3 and mirror's edge 2, any good games you guys looking forward to?
I swear, if anyone posts sims 4

View Profile Games that interested me in Day 1 of E3 were:
-Sunset Overdrive
-FarCry 4
-Assassin's Creed Unity
-LittleBigPlanet 3
-Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain
-No Man's Sky (I don't even know how a game on this scale is possible)
-Batman: Arkham Knight (It's actually Gotham this time)
-Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
I liked Sony's Conference the most but the pacing that they presented wasn't really good.

View Profile Honestly, Sony's and Microsoft's conferences weren't something I was looking forward to.
I watched E3 to see what Nintendo was up to.

View Profile Sony and Nintendo did pretty well this year.
Splatoon was certainly not the game I thought I'd be excited for, but it looks so dope.

View Profile Can't help but feel that Amiibo shouldn't be in Super Smash Brothers. It's a good business move to introduce them to the Nintendo ecosystem as it seemed to do well for Spyro, but from a gamer's perspective they should be limited to non-competitive titles, or at least implemented fairly so that there isn't an advantage.
I get a pay-to-win vibe from the idea that you could swap characters mid fight because you were able to afford all these Amiibos. I guess we'll see how they implement it. I'm just hoping "pay-to-win" isn't the business strategy Nintendo is switching to.

View Profile Well it's looking like Nintendo won this year with Sony in second. Now, for some inevitable E3 2014 gifs.

View Profile It's funny that some people think E3 is a competition and declare a winner every year.

After reading that comment, I must agree.
I love the change of pace from normal FPS games and, although they are using a well known concept they're incorporating a whole new idea.
However I do think it
could get boring pretty quickly.
Do you think it could get the 'hardcore fans' like CoD, Battlefield etc. have?

Doubtful. Their online infrastructure is much better than it ever has been but it's still garbage compared to PSN and Xbox Live. Most Nintendo games still don't put that much of a focus on online play, but I actually kind of like that. I like Nintendo's current dedication to couch co-op games, the other companies seemed to have focused so much on online multiplayer that they completely ignore people who'd rather have friends over to sit around playing games. I'm looking forward to playing Splatoon with a bunch of people, though I haven't looked too far into the game.
