but honestly all I have heard from you guys is that you just don't want more then 3 empires can I have some reasons? like good reason beside the fact you all SC fans and eat and breath SC I need some reason^^all I heard so far you guys just don't l like the idea^^

1) It would be impossible to balance
2) The devs would never have time to balance the game and shit out 7 more empires

We are doing SC references because how successful SC is, and how balanced the game is. Heck, most of us don't even play SC.

I don't think countless empires is fun and good

but I still think 4 would be more balanced than three , two free and two paid

but the best decision would always be the one which suits the majority

if there is a vote chance for each of the player in SE, I am sure the answer would be clear

Those other RTS games, why don't you list them all for me. Why? So I can point out the companies that make them. There is three/four people working on this one. You will get Elementals, Chaos, and Order, and you will like it. There is a SLIGHT possibility that a fourth empire might be made, but don't get your hopes up.

Huh? How they get balanced? It is rlly hard
If it does so, won't those races lose their speciality (or feature)?
(order=powerful+aoe dmging, chaos=sneaky+single dmging,elemental=maybe combining?)

I completely agree with you
every game should always seek for improvement and attract more players, and at the same time preventing old players to quit the game
stopping at three empires forever, with only a small amount of players can afford to pay and try new things, that is definitely not a much improvement in my mind

I did not say more empires = good. But at least I don't think three empires with two of them require payment can satisfy most players
For those who can afford to pay for the game , it may be a "yes" that three empires are enough

but for those who cannot afford to pay for the game, they can just always use "order", and then I am quite sure much of them would get bored after months of game using the same empire
and somehow the fairness of the game will be affected, since those who can pay for the game can always try different empires and find the one that suit them most and get a higher rank
while those cannot play would not have this chance

But if the game is not looking to last longer, then ok ,three empires would be enough

The Battle for middle Earth, 1st game I ever played online had 4 factions
BfME II, second game in the awesome lord of the rings series they added 2 more factions
RoTWK, third in the series and in my opinion the best rts game I have ever played period added one more faction total of 7 factions.
Age of mythology, A awesome game Awesome story line, haven't played in ages but there will multiple factions units and powers.
Age of Empire series,I think there where 4 I am not sure but I only play one of them ,not as good as age of mythology but another good game with many factions units
Rome Total War If you have not played this game there is something wrong with you Many nations and units this is probably my second favorite game
Total War series There are at least 5-6 others I don't remember, from what they heard most resent one was rome total war II which I have not played yet,also have not play shogun I and II
American conquest, A game I never hope to play again not sure why I played it for so long but again many factions units unless im getting this mixed up with anther game.
American conquest series I think there are 3-4 in the series no clue why I played them all
StarWars Empire at war gold pack, 1st game pack only had the 2 factions, 2nd game pack had 3 factions, im still looking but I think they came out with and update for 4 factions
Stronghold, Awesome game awesome story only one faction far as I remember
Stronghold crusaders 1st REAL rts game I ever played awesome in everyway only had 2 factions though

That's about it really cant think of any other RTS game I have played right now^^
