Dream: Become some sort of doctor. I'm not sure which field I want to enter yet.

Proffesional musician. And I don't mean specifically rock star, I also mean classical-ish music. IE, French horn. Not that being a rock star wouldn't be awesome.

Or, artist. Not like paintings, but along the lines of a web comic. Actually, yeah, just a web comic.

An animator .

Definetly something with computers or web design. Hell, ideally a job at a local computer store with good enough pay to pay for a nice house for me to live in would be awesome. That's my goal, to get my own place and be paying for it with my computer-related job.

I'm really shooting for character animator when I'm older. But if not I have no idea... I'm running out of time... I'll be outta high school next year....

Hopefully I'll keep animating then go to some art school to learn more animation than I already know.

yeah people tend to not realize there is more to being a musician than rock star, like if me as a drummer was to land a deal on say like a cruis line that would pwn. you gotta think about house bands and such.

Something with computers.

Animation, I dunno what kind, I'm leaning towards animating for video games, but thats becoming mostly motion capture nowadays.

So next year I am starting my college courses in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Its related to computers like I've always wanted but it wasn't necisarily my first choice. For a while I've been like most of you wanting to get into animating/video game design but I soon realised there are so many people in that field it would be hard to get into it right away without any career experience. Also like Cheesy mentioned above, lots of animators now are being replaced with motion capturing.

The more I think about it CADD is something I would like to do because it does involve art in some respect and there is a need for this sort of trade in the economy where I live today. It involves thinking and planning much like what would go into animtion or game design. Also I hope not to be stuck up in a cubicle office like the guys in the EA office downtown.

As for exactly what kind of drafting I want to do, I am unsure (architecture, mechanical etc).

I think we should all get some kind of computer-something-that could be applied to actual game-design under our belt during college.

And then, as a side job, once we're all well off with our fabulously hot wives, start our own game company with only people from SPP.

And then make epic games and cut Zulu out of the profits.

That would be awesome.
