Just Ca3, miner wall and 1-2 magikills would be enought, have some other suportive units and the swords are gone.
Ninja is good against magikills mass, and not swords...

and giants are god against...against what O_O nah, they are just meatshields xD

But ofc always harras them, so dont worry, nrmally they will never get to 80 swords, except you dont know what you do ^_^

I did used this strategy even before you posted the thread, any way it work sometimes but if the enemy already have more than 3 giants+giant growth lvl 2 castle archer (s) will in dat case ur--->( fuked up).

Attack with swords? That's cute. What are you going to do with your sword mass if they pull out a mass of speartons with shield bash with magikill and meric support?

Swords are really bad unless you get a Giant to block the Castle Archer and something to get rid of the "mass-killers" like Magikill. One explosion and/or an electric wall will stop or at least severely cripple a sword mass fairly quickly.

Massing units never works. If you want a decent combo, Speartons + Albowtrosses + Magikill + Giants + Merics. It's effective.

It's the same theory I had long ago; that, if you could disregard build time and gold and mana cost, 80 swords would beat any other unit combos or unit masses there are.

The problem, however, is that you will never get more than 10 swords even if you're up against a noob. I've been busy trying to do just what you're talking about, and I'm about 90% certain that, in the current version of StickEmpires it is impossible to use sword mass in a practical way... unless you count trolling 1200s as practical.
