These days, I haven't been playing Stick Empires because of Giant Massing. I find it too easy to defeat Elemental Empire and Chaos Empire, but Order, NO. I always wanted to defeat Giant Massing with Swordwrath, but since I'm in 1555, and sso do they, I find it very hard. The reason? They started using Magikill and Albowtross to pair up with Giants. Is there anyway to defeat them? I tried rush, but they always have Miner Walls. If anyone knows how to defeat this sort of Giant Massing, PLEASE HELP!

With chaos you need to dead pressure to stop the turtle. You gotta get the spawn and a late game tech into giant/marrow/medusa.

With elementals.. You can't really break a turtle, so good luck.

With order just get giant/ninja/mage/meric. Don't forget the tower 2! :)

Have a good macro going (or a good production of units,) get a giant or two of your own and make a lot of albows, or make a shalbow (Shadow and albow) mass.

If they bring in a mage, have a shadow with shinobi 2 ready.

But with giants and albows, one thing you can do is just mass spear to make them attack your opponent's statue because giants and albows are considerably slower than spears. You can also try a few giants as meat shields and then have magikills to summon electric wall, poison, and explosion. They're quite effective against slow units.

with order you can always try to use ninjas and sniobi to kill Magikill get speartons to tank damage and attack giants archers will also help to hit albows. but even better get a Magikill with electric wall and poison to hit both giants and albows try to get a giant of your own to cover your Magikill

And as always, pressure them as hard as you can so they can't build any giants in the first place.

I took this form here http://forums.stickpage.com/showthread.php?77732-Micro-Tactics-Encyclopedia

Targeting (Kill List)

When facing an enemy army, you should have an order of which units to kill first. Magikill should always be the first on this list. Then Merics. Next, low health/high damaging units should be taken out. These include swords, archers (if they don't kite), exposed albows, and ninjas. Lastly, are the high health but low damaging units, the tanks. These are the giants and Speartons.

take out merics with your ninjas

I tried everything* and I always fail no matter what. Taking out the units one by one also costs me dearly because each time I kill them, they spawn it again all over. Not to mention, they always cripple my economy in early and crush me later on.The last time I defeated one is 5 months ago.......

If all else fails, then just prevent it from happening in the first place by harassing your opponent's economy as much as possible, so that way, they're forced to pull out other units instead of a giant to attack you.

Maybe post a replay on here so we can see what you did wrong. Also, if they're turtling, remember to get lots of archidons to shut them down early on. Archers can shoot the second row of gold without being touched by a CA, and giant massing is difficult with only 8 miners on gold. If you let them giant mass, you're pretty much dead, as most builds can't effectively defeat a maxed out Order Giant army. You have to break them early on before they can get many giants out.

me vs. giant massing
www.stickempires.com/play?replay=replay5758967&version=2.04
1. capture tower
2. apply pressure on second gold row(archer)
3.develop economy
4. "spearcher" plus ghost spawn pressure
5. develop economy further (also get a couple merics)
6. "spalbow" plus ghost spawn for the finish

Giant massing does sometime happen successfully on GH. If it does happen then you have to get giants as well.
The troop combo is basically: Giant + ninja + meric. I don't recommend albows if they have a magikill.
I usually get 2-3 giants and tower spawn 2, 4-5 ninjas, 2 magikill, 3-4 merics.
