I like Dudeman's ideas. The premise is very nice, though. As was said, it's a start.

The box resets back to letting you choose again on every page but we never really used ratings why make the box.

The new rating feature was a suggestion PM'd to me and I liked it so here it is. I changed the color as per your guy's suggestions. Give it a try if you don't like it tell me later.

It should. No point of there being two of the same thing.

Also this is a question, is the portal ever going to get a new skin? Right now, it's is ridiculously monotone and the buttons are way plain. Something more bright and interactive would do the portal great.

every infraction adds, say, 20 seconds to the time you need to wait between posts? i dont know if this is possible with vB, but i know its possible with punBB. i think this would be a very effective way of making people think twice about their posts, no?

That really does sound like a great idea. I'm thinking more like a minute between posts though.

This is definitely a good idea. People would certainly think a bit more before they post. But would this expire just like infractions do? Or would there be a different timeline?

My suggestion: Don't let people with 11 infractions have any amount of power in the forum.

It'd be one infraction but i asked vee to ban me on april fools day but the forum glitched and i got stuck with 10 points.
