Quote from AudixI think this will help keep newbs out of some places that will get them flamed.
What you do is make certain sub-selections have a post requirement to post it.
Example: It takes 50 posts to post in the main.
But i think that the only ones they can post for the first 50 should be showoff and tutorials To prove that they can contribute to the society.
And general halp too.
Hope this halps.
Quote from SaucyHow about sub-section only mods for the showoff sections? At LEAST one for the pivot section. I mean, the mods hardly look there at all, so can we not just find someone who is in that section a lot to be a mod, that only has powers in the pivot section? It's a mess most of the time, with flame wars and spams. I'm just saying, there's a reason people refer to many members as "pivot noobs/geeks/fags" because there are so many newbs who automatically come to the pivot section, because it's the "easy" program. The section gets flooded with newb traffic, many of which don't know anything about forums, so they need controlled a bit more.
And no, no one say anything about how pivot sucks, some people just animate with pivot in their free time for fun. No one can put a limit on how people have fun, now can they?
Quote from Raffi Stickmaybe you could add a feature which lets you edit your portal submissions like in NG.
Quote from Spazzy-ZIs SoY even monitoring this thread anymore? If not, maybe we can have a mod edit all the latest suggestions into the first post.

Quote from RealI think the first post in this thread should contain a link to the post with the reasoning for each color (except for black, I guess).
For example, for the one about rep, link to Paperclip's or ZuLu's post saying, "Hell No!".
I'm suggesting this because I would like to see what the admins are saying about these items without digging through the entire monstrous thread.
Quote from "All SPP Forum Members"Real's suggestion for this thread is absolutely superb and should be implemented immediately.
