If you're suggesting some kind of automated ban system, I believe that's already either blue or red (either way, it ain't gonna happen).

If you're simply suggesting a change in the way the forums are administrated, it doesn't fit the criteria for a "Forum Suggestion". Saying things like "We need to be more strict" may be a suggestion, but of a different nature than we're looking for in this thread. This thread is specifically looking for suggestions that will in some way change the functionality of the forums/site. Not a suggestion telling the mods how to do their jobs.

EDIT: Okay, here's a suggestion to get things rolling again...

You know all the garbage that appears to the left of each post? The username, title, avatar, join date, location, post count, so on? I suggest that it's moved above the posts, rather than beside them. That gives more horizontal room for both the posts themselves and signatures. Not saying signatures should be any longer than 500 pixels, but for certain things this may be handy.

Okay, well, I'll just go ahead and add that to the first post then...

I'm not trying to tell the staff how to do their job. It could help teach people to stop. Instead of them saying "oh, 1 infraction, it'll expire soon, who cares". But if they get banned for a period of time, maybe they would learn to actually stop, instead of getting infractions, and then perma-banned, or just banned. It gives members another chance to correct themselves before they get banned. Like, if someone spams, they get an infraction, if they spam again, they get the 1-3 day ban penalty, if they continue, a serious infraction should be issued, and then ban.

Another suggestion- SPP needs it's own type of thing. Or maybe holidays. Like Newgrounds has a level system, the more animations you rate, the higher your level. And Madness Day. Not saying we should copy NG, cuz that may be copyright or something =/ SPP and SP just get bored when you've been here for a long time. I think members would find something like a level system more enjoyable. It could also help noobs see who deserves respect, and who the other noobs are. Maybe a downloads section. Like, preloaders, desktop BG's, etc. The portal could also use some work. Especiallly the 'Most viewed of the month" or whatever. It's been like that forever.

i would have. I stopped the trolling and continuous spam, though. Apparently i'm a 'minimod'.

I just saw the cash system. It could work. I like the idea of buying the ability to upload larger Avatars.

*Vomits*

Please, no cash system. This is a social community, not Runescape.

Can I just ask why the infractions mod ever replaced the warnings mod?
At least people got banned with the warnings mod.

Edit: Also, I want and honest answer. "It's better" does not suffice.
I have a feeling it may not have been compatible with the new version of vbulletin.
It's the only reason I see for changing.

I was wondering the same thing, but never bothered to speak about it.

The warning system was actually better than the infractions mod.

But meh.

I agree. I don't even understand the ?/?(?) format of the infraction count.

It's never been explained.
It has also never been explained when you get banned with this infractions mod.

All in all, it's poor.
