Yeah, they have that in use on another forum I go to, it works well.


It's just a lengthened public profile really, but it would be good here as people can put all their animations there, or artwork or whatever.

Maybe add the reputation feature to the forums ?

When the chat thread gets revived, we should have a thread or sub forum called "Ejection." Where the mods or people discuss if a certain member should be banned from posting in the Chat Thread due to spamming or stupid behavior. Its a lot easier doing that than deleting the thousands of pages it had.

There should be a default avatar when you join to bring some colour in. You could still change it afterwards and if you wanted you could switch it off so you had no avatar, but I think it would make the place look nicer, and the noobs wouldn't stand out so much (well, they would once we remembered what the noob avvy is, but it would be less irritating because we could say, "at least it's colourful noobishness,")

Hell no, it is there to make sure the user is serious about this place before they start posting animations. If it was only 5 it would be much easier for random people to advertise their animations.

The reason it's like this is because more and more random people could post out-of-catagory posts, leading to more and more users having to answer to posts like "hows d00 I gat da flASh me no find eet", leading to more mods deleting threads, leading to thier anger, leading to the collapse of SPP, leading to angry animators throwing shit in the middle of the street, people will get sick from this fecies-tastic slosh and the [SIZE="6"]entire world will end[/SIZE] [SIZE="1"]probably[/SIZE].

On another note, there should be a 3D animation section.

Post deletion by public demand; Have a small button at the bottom right of each post, and if 10 or so people click on it, the post gets deleted.

Just so some of the more idiotic posts can be deleted without getting a mod to do it everytime.
