Sebastian slightly jumped when he felt a hand clap on his shoulder, he turned and saw Dante trailing behind him, holding Anna in one arm and she was following close behind him, mumbling something almost inaudible he think he heard a nope. She's scared of bugs? Sebastian turned back and looked at the bugs, they were creepy looking. His scar itched slightly, he would have to ask her about why she carved that eventually. Still wish it was Iris instead though. He thought guiltily, he had nothing against Dante, but looking cool and having Iris depend on him would be nice and a plus. He had seen that Iris was still on Dante's back, so technically? He grinned. He tried to peer around Bub but his large build prevented such a simple task so he tapped his back, avoiding the cracks that showed veins that pumped hot glowing blood and asked, "Do you see an exit?"

"All I see are bugs." He replied, turning his head over his shoulder.

He looks briefly set his gaze on Anna, before focusing on the bugs.

"What kinds of bugs are they? I've never heard of bugs nesting in caves."

"Whatever they are, I'm pretty sure they're not normal..." she looked behind, and thought "We probably can't go back either...", looking forwards she picked her crossbow and aimed in front of the group, "I'll be paying attention, let's try to make this as fast as we can, if we don't see an exit soon, I'll use my fire arrows to spread them away from the path to see clearer". Iris said as the group decided to keep going forwards.

As the group carried on through the bug swarm, they failed to notice the large green bulbs of exoskeleton poking out slightly among them. They passed several of the bulbs before Bub stepped on one, the exoskeletal extension shaking violently causing the smaller bugs to move away in fear, ready to obey their gods. Suddenly a beast of an insect tore itself out of the earth, revealing that the bulb was actually it's back. the Swarmlord roared at them, causing the other bulbs to shake violently, awakening more swarmlords.

The beast was nearly 8 feet tall and was clearly a threat.



The jailer cast his hand out to his side, blasting red electricity into the ground.
"I dare you to make a move."

"Wha- WOAH! Urgh!"
As the giant insect rose Bub was knocked into the air and falls to his back. He push himself up to witness the insect in it's size and form. The countless roars that follows signals the large quantity of their numbers are abseloute.

"Let's not act like we weren't anticipating this."

Bub threw his monstrous hand for an uppercut at the one blocking their path. Trying to knock him out and possibly pin him down.

Nikolai had only just released another of his bullets, taking the option of continuing the offense until the behemoth finally perished, before the electric door opened. He turned his head towards the male, who was lumbering, covered in armor, and had red electricity surging through one of his arms as if it were his main weapon.

The mercenary smirked and scoffed at the dare to move, "If I was in better condition, I'd probably take you up on that offer"

"Just like I thought would happen." Anna said. Stepping boldly before the rest of her team, she slammed a foot down onto the ground, her hands on her hips, staring defiantly at the beast who roared at her with her lip stuck out and her hair rustling in the wind of the roar. In the dim light of the caves--swathed in heat and permanently filled with the noise of millions and millions of scuttling feet, she assessed the situation at an incredible speed.

These smaller critters; they don't want to fight. These are the workers and the lesser beings with no mind but to do its duty and to sustain the hive. Anna remembered studying bees and ants with great fascination, wondering if they acted on their own will or if they were just extensions of the queen. No. She confirmed to herself. The real danger here are these larger monsters. But I'm not going to dismiss the possibility of the smaller ones being a threat for even an instant.

​To defeat an opponent, you first must learn how to do so before committing to an attack. She thought to herself, closing her eyes and preparing for what she would do next. Now begins the first move.

And Anna swung her hand outwards in an arc, forming multiple shields to hold the monster up as it reared up and roared at them. This kept the multiple mouthes on its underside exposed. "Ice arrows, Iris!" She cried, louder than she had spoken for what seemed like a very long time.

Sebastian groaned and stated out loud, "I hate corridors." He scanned around and looked at the situation, they were in a massive cavern, surrounded by very very angry and big bugs. Dante is definitely going to be having a fit over this. He sheathed his short lance and drew his blade lance. He didn't like the whole surrounded aspect, but if he went left, hopefully Dante would go right. He targetted a Swarmlord's arms, looking to take out its main weapons and then overpower it with reach. They had mouths on their stomach, a nice target if he could get a good stab and not get his blade caught in its teeth. Bub seemed to want to go ham on one, Sebastian wished him luck, then wished double upon himself, hope it works like that.

"Oh dear..." said Iris in a worried tone as she saw the beast comming out of the ground, before she could say anything else, Anna was apparently working in something already, she heard the little girl's orders and without hesitation she aimed at the open mouths of the huge beast, "Let me take the first hit Sebastian" she said as she fired multiple ice arrows towards the monster. She then looked at her surroundings and said to the girl "tho Anna... that one monster might not be our only problem...".

Mason was knocked back by the beast erupting from the ground. He quickly took a battle stance, letting his claws lash outward as he was ready to extend them into whip blades. After Iris shot off her arrows Mason quickly ran up to another one of the many swarmlords and open up his hands. He kept his left claw in front of him to sink into the creature and he pulled his right arm back and unlocked his fingers, ready to swipe his whip like appendages at the beast. As he ran up to it, he looked around and saw another swarmlord that had not yet joined the battle completely. He quickly tried to mind control the second beast as he ran towards the first one.

The large bug being was knocked into the tunnel wall by Bub's large fist. Bub then followed up by rushing the creature into the wall, clearing the path for the others while he held the large insect against the tunnel wall.

The metal took the brunt of the hit but Mason was still knocked back, using his mind control powers he was shocked to discover that he COULD take over a swarmlord, but it would require all of his concentration to hold the control.

Looking at the opening Iris said immediately, "Look over there!, we better keep moving", looking at Bub she added "Bub, just push that damn thing away and keep running!".

"This might be our only change to get away from these things..."

"Hold on." He gives the monster three heavy punches to its face before throwing its body towards the other giant insects. "Alright, let's scurry." He jumps back to the lead position. Acting as their bulldozer, shoving away all obstacles that may intercept their path.
