Iris got up with Sebastian's help, and suddenly everything went dark she immediatly thought "Sirius..... the whole enviroment feels differntly from our last encounters, I feel his evil prescense...". As they got closer to where they were before, Iris could spot on the distance what was happening, Sirius was in a really creepy and disturbing position, Nikolai wasn't far from him... unprotected, and Dante wasn't responding the shock of seeing her sister's burnt body was too much for her mind... Iris' face showed anger, taking the crossbow with both of her hands, she placed the yellow arrow she already had and spawned additionally a smoke one, she first shot the smoke one directly on Sirius' face followed right after by the electric one. As she shot those 2 arrows, Iris quickly spawned 2 green ones with effort and shot them directly at nikolai's wound, with dead accuracy, both of them hit his wounds, hoping that her attack would also work she looked at Sirius again when the arrows were about to impact.

Keeping her head low, gripping a few loads of ash in her hands, she tried to block out this man's constant spat of darkness being just the bee's knees. Putting her visor on she closed her eyes thinking of her sister, and refused to look up at any of the hallucinations he was making. The constant put down of her sisters death was only growing old on her as she literally had nothing of her sister left. Her mind wandered into a place where she rarely stepped foot, a happy place. A place so clearly opposite of what was right in front of her. There sat Styx in the living room behind a small wooden doll house. Moving towards her the small girl smiled and raised one half dressed doll and said "I can't find that pretty skirt you made for her." Looking around, Dante moved some other hand made toy clothes before pulling out a mint green skirt making the red headed girl light up with joy. "You'd think that color could be seen from anywhere!" Dante reached over and pulled her brand new plush mint green bunny out and smiled. "It's why I have this!" Anna squealed hugging Dante to a point that she fell over with the bunny between them. The two small girls embraced as Styx sat back up holding the stuffed animal. "Oh Dante! How'd you buy this?" Dante sat up and smiled. "I made it. Your kind of... security blanket. Whether you're alone, or in the dark. It'll always be there to protect you." Styx nodded. "Just like you!" Dante smiled and booped her nose. "Just like me."

Opening her eyes from the scene Dante was face to face with Sirius as he asked her a question. Her eyes narrowed as something caught the corner of her eye. Green. She damn well loved that color. "Her name is Styx." Dante got up fast and used the ash in her hands to fly right into Sirius' face, and his position made throwing it much easier. If the arrows came in contact with Nikolai, Dante would try to rush around Sirius to grab the man, just to try and help him up.

Sirius could hear the silent footsteps as Sebastian tried to be as quiet as he could possibly be. He walked into the broken building to find Iris, before helping her up and the both of them coming out. How amusing, he thought, Here comes the cavalry.

His focus returned back to Dante, who corrected how he called her little sister. Suddenly, Dante shot up and the ashes that he had blown at her was now at his face. He snarled audibly, The insensitive bitch! I gave them to her and she just throws them right back!

Even with the ashes covering his eyes momentarily, the darkness all around him was like a sixth sense. He could feel everything coming towards him, specifically the array of arrows and Dante. He knew he had to deal with the insensitive imbecile, but the arrows were first. He straightened himself, standing erect as the plumes of dark grey smoke covered himself, Nikolai and Dante. Through the smoke came an electric-powered arrow. The thing that would apparently weaken him.

And yet, he caught it. With his bare hand. The lightning within began to short out. Using his free hand to wipe the ash and smoke from his pitch black orbs, he stared them down. He went to say something smugly, only to be stopped. Not a split second later, he dropped the electric arrow in pain, now dark. A healing arrow had accidentally struck him in the thigh, while the other hit Nikolai square in the chest. He reeled back in pain, rushing into a dark corner as he roared. For at least a second, the shadows flickered, revealing the light outside, before coming back to full darkness once again.

He was away from Nikolai now, but his anger had risen. The shadows began to react violently, darkness coming together and forming into a terrific tornado of debris and dark matter.

“YOU FOOLS! I WILL NOT FORGET THAT!”

***

A warm, fuzzy feeling engulfed his body, as Nikolai awoke with a start.

For a moment, he had no idea where he was. All he knew was that Dante was only inches away from him. His pale red hues glanced up at the pitch black sky, and he already knew; Sirius had returned. He heard his booming voice, and the sound of wind gusting as he felt it on his chest.

He sat up as fast as he could, an overwhelming dizziness overcoming him as he looked up at Dante. The large cut on his face was still there, unable to be healed by the green arrow’s one shot. It was throbbing, but other than that he was okay.

“Dante….,” He said slowly, the rest of the world melting away for a brief moment as he stood up next to her, “You’re…okay?”

Mason noticed Sirius recoil from iris green arrow... perfect. "Hey Sirius, you seem... kinda smart. I dunno if you're as smart as me but hey whatever, idiots have a place in this world too I guess." Mason knew his insult game wasn't on point, but with Sirius' apparent narcissism complex he knew it would evoke some sort of reaction. "Fight me like a real man, mono-e-mono, that means one on one, just in case you're too dense to understand." Mason looked over at Iris as he said this, if she didn't catch on to his obvious baiting...

As if it was a blessing, he was tossed his pride and beauty.
Demon was vibrating in rage and glee, reunited with his Hammer to take down these creatures with no effort.
Things were going to be MUCH more easier.
Springing into action gripping his hammer tightly, he effortlessly made it swing incredibly fast between the attacks the monsters gave. One by one, smashing his hammer into each individual ape, Demons wide grin never formed past a smile as he seemingly enjoyed hearing the sounds of dying aliens. Caving in their skulls seemed therapeutic as he became ignorant of the action happening behind him.

Screams, shots and murder.
Demon was damn near responsible for the whole affair he couldn't control.
Catching his breath quick, his sweating, fatigued body shifted to the struggle of Iris, Sebastion, Dante, and Nikolai.
Nikolai...
His body hung below the giant monster before the whole group that was doing a disgusting crab walk in the darkness. The only provided light came from Iris's efforts to shoot Nikolai with her variety of colorful arrow that distracted Sirius briefly, but his train of thought was more concerned in Dante's position.
Frozen, she hunched over the ground crying as the new giant fraysan approached her slowly.
What in the world has gotten into her?
Jerking his Hammer behind him, he slid the shaft in his palms into he gripped the very end of it, throwing his Hammer ahead at the smokescreen that Iris provided on the giant monster. Clinking off of the monster easily, it bounced off whatever it hit and landed buried in the ground behind Dante.
Disappointed, Demon started to hustle over to the group quickly.
As he approached, the monsters face emerged from the smoke to confront Dante and mutter something personally to her, something Demon couldn't possibly hear over his own breathing.
Dante's split reaction to stand up and throw something in the monsters eyes gave Demon a kick in his sprint, passing Iris as she shot something bright enough to illuminate the area as it pierced the darkness with a trail of light. Even blinded, the monster was still able to react fast enough to grab the arrow, but flinched when the arrow reacted point-blank in its hands.
Re-positioning itself as it crawled backwards, Demon caught up to his weapon and grabbed it in motion, passing Dante now as she prepared to follow.
Strange movement in the darkness made Demons running falter, as if he was being tugged behind him. His attack on the creature slowed as it yelled in pain, “YOU FOOLS! I WILL NOT FORGET THAT!”

"CRAM IT!" shouted Demon, jumping up to with his Hammer cocked back, bashing it into its right arm.

Quite surprised for what just happened Iris thought "The green arrows... damage him?...". Thinking on it, it does make sense, he is indeed a purely evil being, and her soft healing arrows have the complete opposite intentions.

"But..." before she could continue, Mason started to bait Sirius' to get his attention, the purpose was obvious and Iris started to spawn more green arrows, this time a cold sweat ran through her face as 2 more green arrows spawned on her crossbow, ready to shot... Iris waited for the perfect moment to throw her attack, in the split of second that Sirius gets distracted by Mason, she'd fire her arrows immediately.

They had found his weak spot. Those damned healing arrows. Nobody had realized beforehand that they were made of pure light; a weakness to his shadow-imbued body. Something he would have to watch out for. As he recoiled, he could see from the corner of his eye that Nikolai had awoken from his slumber. Another nuisance, he thought to himself with a frown on his face.

And then suddenly, someone he hadn’t seen much of throughout the ordeal came into his line of sight. Mason. The thought that he was prepared to attack him outright was replaced by the fury building inside of him as the male attempted to taunt him. While such an imperfect being shouldn’t have done much to his conscious, it was still enough to make him want to rip the imbecile, limb by limb.

“You…vermin!” He exclaimed through gritted teeth, and suddenly Sirius did something that nobody had suspected. Instead of charging in like a bull, he allowed the shadows to do it for him. The large tornado that had been gather debris and shadow matter suddenly sprang forth, swirling toward Mason at great speeds as the gusts of wind grew stronger. If Mason didn’t dodge it in time, he would be ripped to shreds.

At the same moment, the shadows all around himself could sense the sudden presence of those vile healing arrows, and immediately jumped to the side. While preventing the arrows from injuring him any further, they did however hit the shadows that were encompassing the area. The section in which the healing arrows dissolved and dispersed suddenly lost it’s shadows, and bright light flooded in through that particular area, creating a hole about the size of two people standing side by side. In that section of the dome that had been placed over the group, the shadows were slowly creeping back through the dome, but the light would stay for at least another thirty seconds.

In that exact moment, Sirius could see a figure emerging from the darkness. He had no idea who he was or where he had come from, but the intention was clear; an attempt to bash at him with some gargantuan hammer he held. As he jumped up and attempted to fling the hammer at him, Sirius caught it in his hand nearly effortlessly. His other hand grasped tightly onto the male’s side, squeezing tightly as the cold of Sirius Nightshade spread through him.

“Such…Brute force and bravery…In such an evil specimen,” Sirius mused, “However, such brute strength won’t work on the likes of me.”

Still grasping the hammer in his hand, Sirius pushed hard with his other hand, enough to send Jason flying backwards toward the others. That wouldn’t have been so bad, had Sirius not aimed the gargantuan hammer and meant to throw it at Jason’s head. Another one dead.

He cocked his arm and flung it forward, intending to end Jason's life then and there.

However, at the same time a searing pain came in his shoulder, mangling his throw and having the heavy hammer jut into the ground just in front of Jason as he fell, rather than at his head. Sirius, vexed by the distraction, jerked his head toward the source.

Nikolai, who had somehow managed to grab his weaponry while he was distracted by everyone else, stood with his guns smoking, and that same fucking smile on his face.

“I don’t like to miss a fight.” he said coolly.

Mason saw the swirling vortex of shadow and debris come at him. He jumped out of the way, but his arm got hit leaving a nice sized dent. He picked himself up off the ground and witnessed Nikolai and Sirius locking eyes. He knew charging was a bad idea, and Sirius was definitely to mentally strong to have his mind invaded. He was egotistical, but not enough that he had no other mind set but "damn I'm amazing". Mason wanted to help Nikolai out though, and it was with that, a thought rushed into his head. He got onto his knees and closed his eyes. He sent his mind rushing like a stampede of wilderness towards Sirius'. Mason physically had lost all consciousness, but his mind was now circling around Sirius unsuspecting mind. Mason knew he wouldn't be able to see or think straight for a while after this, but it was worth a try. He quickly tried to grab a hold of Sirius' senses, and if he ever saw a rodeo he assumed it would look like what he imagined. Mason's mind wrangled for limited control of Sirius' senses, screwing with his vision and his hearing and everything you could imagine. It was a struggle to hold on, but he hoped he'd be able to hold on for long enough for something significant to be done.

"Mason what are you doing...", Iris thought as Mason fell to the ground right after he dodged Sirius' first attack, trying to figure out what was he doing, she answered herself the question... after a few seconds, she looked at Sirius and his expression changed, something was bothering him.

Then Iris' understood what was happening, it was dangerous for Mason tho... but if it worked, they better use their chance in the best way possible. Not saying a word, Iris spawned yet another green arrow, adding a bit more of energy on this one, she started to feel weak but the chances of making the shot were high, it was worth the try... "Here we go...". She said right before she shot her arrow directly at Sirius' chest as soon as she saw him affected by Mason's attempt to mind control him.

Sirius was staring down Nikolai, their eyes piercing one another as the whole world seemed to melt. This was the man that he had wanted to deal with every since that battle at the cave-in. The one that he desired, so badly, to murder In cold blood. Have his blood be on his hands as he laughs hysterically. That was what he wanted, and that was half the reason he followed the heroes around.

As they stared each other down, he felt something…bothering him. His vision began to blur, and he began to hear a ringing in his ears. All of his senses seemed to be under attack at once, and Nikolai was preparing another attack. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Mason falling to the ground, unconscious. He briefly remembered something about him…Something important.

He was able to enter people’s minds.

Snarling, he began to realize his senses were detiorating quickly. However, he also knew that Mason was digging deeper into his mind. Suddenly, Mason felt a darkness wash over him. His mind was subjected to all of the insanity in Sirius’ head. All of the horrible ways he thought, all of the things he imagined, fantasized of. Rape, murder, destruction of the world. It seeped into Mason’s mind, causing him great pain and despair. Even delving into something as insignificant as the senses was enough to make him see this. Soon, the grip was released, his senses washing over him suddenly in plain clarity.

He didn’t have enough time to register the green arrow coming towards him. Drawing a startled breath, he turned to the side, just in time to have the healing arrow stab into his forearm. He roared in pain, and shadows emerged from the ground in an instant fury. Another arrow had weakened his physical body, but not his mind. Vexed by the attacks, he lashed out at Iris immediately, shadows crashing towards her with sharp ends that would stab her through the torso should she be unable to dodge it.

YOU INFECTIOUS VERMIN!”

Mason's mind snapped back into him almost instantly. His mind was flooded with dark thoughts and pain-staking imagery, that added to the already intense pain caused by his mental disconnection. Mason's vision was blurred and hazy, as if he had his face pressed up to a stain-glass window. His head felt like his skull was constantly expanding and contracting rapidly. He sank his claws into the dirt and let out a loud roar of agony. He tried his best to focus on Sirius, who was now attacking Iris. Mason couldn't possibly defend himself in the position he was in, so he hoped that he'd have enough time to get back on his feet before attention was direct towards him.

Sirius was really losing his cool, and it was all thanks to his teammates. He was so angry after getting hit and now he was taking it out on Iris. Sebastian was hoping that the electricity had exited her system, but just to be safe he shoved Iris to the left as he himself dove to the right to dodge the onslaught of shadow spikes.

Iris by herself didn't have the enough speed to dodge all those spikes, suddenly a hard push was felt on her body giving her enough force to doge most of them. The burst of shadow spikes only cut her arm and a bit of her back, but it wasn't something unbearable. She also tumbled and kneeled, looking at Sebastian she shouted at him, "Sebastian!, go for Mason and stay with him until he recovers enough strenght to walk again!", and then she stood up... she cuts felt like fire burning directly on her skin, she attempted to spawn a green arrow to heal herself but stopped in the middle of her action. "No.... I must save these to kill that monster, can't waste them... besides.... with the energy I have left, I can probably just use 2 more before passing out. But I must not show my exhaustation in front of Sirius, I must stay strong..., she said until she stood firmly in front of Sirius.

Iris then slightly smirked and shouted at him, "I hope those arrows make you cry like the weak person you really are!", if there was a way to weaken Sirius mentally, it was to hit him in the deepest part of his pride. Even tho it won't do any actual damage, there is a small chance that he'd get distracted enough to make a mistake, and when that happens they all would take that chance.

After shouting that, Iris ran to the left while she started to shoot electric arrows at Sirius but also to his sides, this time she triggered them before they reached his target and she also made them burst like a flash of light, strong enough to light up a whole bedroom for a few seconds. "This should affect his shadows as well... I hope...

He recovered well from his dive as he rolled onto his feet, he dashed and made his way over to Mason, "Can you please just not almost die once?" He jokingly mimicked him as he dragged him further away from the conflict.

Sirius grinned in glee as he saw Mason return to his own body. He was disoriented, dizzy. There was no possible way he could move, much less defend himself, the way he was now. As the shadow spikes speeded toward the two, Sebastian pushed Iris hard to the left, while dodging to the right himself. Spikes grazed Iris’ back and arm, causing an annoying, throbbing pain, while the only spike to hit Sebastian was in his shoulder. However, it was deep enough to cut through muscle, causing a searing pain that Nikolai had felt only moments ago.

Sirius grinned as Iris told Sebastian to take care of Mason, and he obliged. Now, Iris and Sirius stood face to face in confrontation. She tried to take a jab at his intelligence and pride, and yet he showed no waiver in his stance.

“Not very convincing, coming from a girl who relies on the attachments of love to motivate her to live.”

More electric arrows came barreling towards him at great speeds, and before he could try to catch them, they all went off at once, bringing forth a sudden burst of light that blinded him for a moment. For that split second, light surrounded Sirius, and it was in that moment that Nikolai shot another bullet toward his torso. Sirius, sensing the bullet just in time, jumped back and dodged the bullet as it lodged itself into the ground.

It was in that moment that the ground began to break, shattering into pieces of shadow matter as the ground between Sirius and the group was now nothing but a deadly, deep black abyss.

It is time….For you to see what power TRULY IS!

Suddenly, the hulking piece of shadow matter was lifted into the sky, and thrown down towards Mason and Sebastian. There was no way Iris would be able to get to them in time, and so it was up to the duo to figure out how to get out of such a predicament.
