For those who have not seen yet, if you are a non-member you are limited to 5 posts per min. Members can chat unlimited. However they seem to value their accounts and just don't spam. So hopefully this first step helps.

I actually agree on this. Putting social restriction just because of being non-member seems a bit... what's the word? Douchy? idk

long story short it's just a bad idea.

5 messages a minute is still quite a bit. That's effectively one every 11-12 seconds.
