It's not as good as everyone says it is. My opinion though.

I think the general consensus though is that the voice acting sucks.

Also mine, haha. I never cared about RWBY and I don't get the hype over it. Watching the first few episodes struggled to keep my interest. This is just me, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm gone for two fucking days and you people manage to shit this thread up more than a hyperactive mongoloid with explosive diarrhea.

From this point on we will be having quality discussion and quality discussion only.

I am gonna try and get into Uni this summer, hopefully study me some AI. I was thinking physics first, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized AI fits me better. Especially now that I've been bored to hell with Engineering, what a snorefest.
What are you guys studying right now? What do you want to study later on?

TT-TT

Well I liked it, but I'm just one man. Besides, one of the few reasons I got hyped for it was because of summer class last year. I was wondering how awesome 3D animation can get then someone showed me the first three trailers. I don't know why I still fervently like it, maybe because I'm a sucker for shows like these or I'm still curious as to what happens.

That depends on what kind of anime, turns out they were all watching some seriously great stuff under your nose.

Actually, we do. And if you downgrade the conversation to very low levels, you better believe that we'll start infracting.

And I know it's not against the rules or anything, but there's literally a social thread for both Video Games and Anime in the General Section. It'd be better to post in those two threads; it's more fair to the people who don't want to talk about those subjects in the Chat Thread

This place isn't a cheap bypass to letting whatever stupid thoughts in your mind run free or post count boost, you know.

Seriously, it was YOU, hewitt, that said that was the main problem.

Now, we're talking about studying and our futures. Let's continue, guys, come on.

Well, I'm on a tough path. Right now my prelims for Game Modding (or midterms, I forgot) is to make a game via Gamesalad. I got this one day to hustle my ass and make it workable alongside a 2-3 page document. Meanwhile statistics is a bitch, we're at grouped/ungrouped data with calculating variances and all that; already I'm strained. These frequency distribution tables are really hindering me. And then there's physics, more preferable than statistics and slightly easier, slightly. Current topic there's about trajectory and I'll probably need a stack of index cards to list down the numerous formulas in calculating flight time and maximum length/height.

On the bright side, this week we'll get to learn about using these CAT-15 cables to transfer files from one PC to another. An opportunity to use our skills for playing custom WC3:Frozen Throne maps over LAN.

My course is IT, specializing in Game Design and Development. If I get my way, I'll sneak in some animation electives. (I luv u guys)

I did the same last year, but my college sucked ass. I was doing perfectly when my classmates fucked up and got me out of the required points to succeed the year.
And when you do that over here, you don't get to try again for at least 10 years. Worst shit ever.

I don't know, I think it's like Alice for game programmers. You get these assets you can make and you drag them on. While there is indeed no actual coding, you'll use object-oriented attributes and rules. You'll go through hoops to properly implement gravity without turning your level into a bouncy castle.

So it's basically Gamemaker, without the scripting option?
