Do you guys have passion? It's something I've found I'm lacking. I want to be remembered after I die, and yet I have no real drive to go out and improve myself/do things.

fuck when did you get back

You want to be remembered after you die, right? Well just take notice of the fact that you'll be forgotten and placed in a hole besides a zillion other people who died and were forgotten, unless you go out and do something about it. So go out there and build yourself a nice shrine and a get a nice tomb for your body to rest in for eternity.

Just realize that. You have to take action. Think about that and whatever it is you have to do, just do it. I know it sound like a joke with the whole Shia thing but there's a reason he was so intense with the "just do it". Because that's all there is to it. Simply do what you want to do. Pick yourself up, get moving, and just do it.

I'm sure the guys who did 9/11 thought this too.

humans will never make a serious effort to travel outside of Earth simply because it's not financially viable for any government or corporation (and i strongly doubt it ever will be)

With today's technology it isn't financially feasible. But lots will change in 100 years, and that could potentially be more change than what changed between 1915-2015. When technology advances to the point that mining asteroids (hundreds of billions of dollars of resources in a single asteroid) becomes possible, the industry will become huge and so technology for entering space will grow too. Even more so if FTL travel is achieved.

I am dubious of people being able to live permanently on other planets though, at least for a very long time. But even that could happen one day.

Zed actually left for something far worse and despicable. The seedy underbelly of the academic doctorate world, a PhD in Philosophy.

...i wouldn't call it phenomenal. fox is good at edge guarding, but when he's forced to actually recover using up-B and doesn't have control, he doesn't have very good options and it's easy to kill him as long as you predict correctly. like, compare fox's recovery to pikachu's, jigglypuff's, samus's, or peach's-- you barely know what the fuck those characters are going to do when they're off stage in the air. definitely not "borderline unfair."

It is phenomenal because he has a redonkulous amount of options when recovering more than so many characters. He can shine-stall to change his falling speed and thereby avoiding getting his jump sniped by an aerial or something like Sheik's needles, and his side-b can be shortened to quite a few different lengths, and the majority of the cast has no way of covering all these options at once. Firefox is extremely good too, the recovery is so flexible that it's bonkers. Obviously he has a hitbox on his firefox startup, already making his recovery more durable than Falco's. More importantly however, Firefox travels extremely far and has more than 50 different possible angles. On start up, if close enough to the edge, it can automatically grab it, or, if you're far from the ledge, you can aim to get on stage or aim for the edge to cancel the firefox. In addition, it's possible to angle firefox into the stage where it avoids things like Marth's d-tilt completely, and all of his wall/ledge techs can immediately lead to a side-b back onto the stage. And if there are platforms, Fox can edge-cancel from a side-b, cancelling all landing lag of the move. If you happened to get hit by Fox's side-b or up-b when edgeguarding, it's also possible to lead to the Sakurai combo and die off of it.

By itself, Fox's recovery isn't "borderline unfair," but when you think of all the options he even has in neutral and on-stage, the fact that he has such great recovery options just makes it seem overwhelming.
Fox's recovery is absurd in Melee, and it still retains its excellency in 3.5, just, like Jutsu mentioned, not to the level of Melee. But it also seems to be pretty character dependent: some characters have great answers to it and make it look terrible like Ivysaur or ROB, but there are some characters who have an extremely hard time dealing with it like Lucas, Falcon, ZSS, etc.

pikachu's, jigglypuff's, samus's, or peach's

Pikachu's is overrated: 9/10 they will go for the edge, so if you stick a hitbox there, they'll get hit. It also has a bit of landing lag, so you can still punish it if they miss the ledge. Peach's also isn't amazing: once you get rid of float, you have a pretty telegraphed recovery. Fox's is better imo (not better than Pika's), but that's just me.

I've been thinking about changing my RHG Into something original you will never expect :3 even though It's a well-known type of stickfigure that all of you know.
But I'm gonna keep up with my current RHG Laixor for quite some time now :3 He's making me feel badass as fuck.
