No, thats not from another perspective. Thats apples to oranges. Your original point is "Why would I play a game which just has stuff I can do in real life". My response is "Because you can't do any of it in real life." There is a LOT of stuff you can do in the Game of Life with no consequences. Have a wife, have kids, borrow a LOT of money from a bank, wreck havoc with stocks. Thats like saying "Why would anyone play Need for Speed? I can drive a car in real life soon when I'm big and strong like my dear old Pa".
Alright, I concede the point about consequences.
Both games are simulations of real life except with no real consequences no matter what. You can basically fuck around all you want in both games, in one game you get to drive around at top speed, in another game you get to borrow unreal amounts of money from the bank and wreck stocks. Which one of those is actually exciting.
