I hate when I look into the future "i was conscious that my name turned into a topic in this thread" I thought this about yesterday (haven't log-in yesterday "I am now shocked to see it")

Well, there are some opinions and facts between a Mod and a Regular Member (must have a relation between them).

This is a really worth reading for both members and mods in every forum - especially at "What You Can Do" part. I think both 'junior members' and 'senior members' here should be treated equally, too, for preventing bias like posting rights between Scarecrow and Travis - as the current example.
Thanks for sharing this, Jombo.
Edit : Response to Harvie's post below me about TRUST, yeah. I second that. I also think he means that there should be a relation between mod and members, seeing some members here still do some frequent minor and/or major mistakes. Also, notice I don't say that I'm not one of these some members.

I am still thinking that this forum was sentenced to die when it merged with FA. FA, on the other hand, had so much potential and 'momentum' that the merge was unrequired.

In my view long-standing members should be held to an even higher standard than teh newbs because they've been here long enough not only to understand what the rules are, but also to what extent they apply. People like Scarecrow have been here for several years, which means there's not much excuse for them breaking any rules, unless the rules have been changed in a radical way.
By the way speaking of people being here for a long time, I'm coming up on my half decennial soon :0

yeah that's our policy, I'm not sure why travis got an infraction but scarecrow didn't.
Quote from JomboHis reaction could have been done a little more tastefully but regardless of that it was still a mistake on the moderating team
I didn't even know this shit happened until 10 minutes ago, quit acting like every action from an individual moderator is a reflection on the "team". we don't work together on everything.

I think it's because Travis said you were Special when he had his rant.

Actually, judging by some of the things he was saying, he just wanted some of my sugar, but he wasn't getting any.

I talked to Travis on the IRC ...He said he didn't like stickpage anyway and it'll sooner or later die and he's gonna wait for TAP to come back. He then said even when his banned is released he won't come.
Then I came in riding on my unicorn with my golden hair flowing in the wind and whispered in his ear "Bet on it..."
Also Travis said Gunni can go Fuck him self.
