I never said Homosexuality was Adultery, I said Homosexual Actions were what constituted Adultery.
like I said before interpretation of the Bible is not the same thing as being in the mind of God, you believe that God thinks that Homosexuality is an abomination.
The Bible states that everyone has sinned or is a sinner, Sin is basically a constant, but in Christianity, Sin is not what keeps you from heaven, lack of faith in God(Which involves asking for forgiveness of sin) does.

I don't want to get into a definition argument, but faith is generally understood to be a belief in a higher power, the point is that just because you believe that something is true doesn't mean it is.
For example: The entirety of Science holds on the belief that it is possible for us to make objective observation about our universe, despite the fact that our brains are each limited to percieve the world through our five senses. This doesn't mean that Science is false, but it does say that we need to believe the previous assertion so that we can have a working model.

The original argument was how Arch wondered how his homosexual friend could become a christian, because its seemingly contradictory.
Simple, its not a sin for him to be a homosexual, and God according to this belief system God will always forgive him for anything he does as long as he has faith in God so the belief that Christianity would reject him for being gay. Christianity does have set rules a core beliefs but being homosexual doesn't go against any of them. If he was a Muslim and wanted to be both Christian and Muslim it would be more of a problem.
But to True Christians its more important to get a homosexual to heaven rather than burn them at the stake.

And if you disagree that Homosexual Actions are sins then that's your own perrogative. If you can't at least tolerate that then itself is being intolerant of the beliefs of a group of people rather than actions.
