Well, it would be nice if we had some recent examples going around.

Maybe not so recent, but the Trash Can got em.

Edit : I misunderstood, but if we don't have any examples, doesn't that prove something?

The trash can is pretty amusing to read through. I like laughing at other people's failures.
Sacred you do know turnstile is Hewitt?

Maybe that was why you were excited? No I'm not going to categorize your entire persona as an elitist douchebag. But I am confident in saying that a good portion of your posts are dedicated only to deplete others and have zero other content.

that last bit is what I completely disagree with. I spend more time putting "content" into debate threads than most people here, your generalizations only make sense if you completely ignore that fact.

that and you're assuming my disagreement with an individual statement is somehow a personal attack on the person saying it. usually that's not the case.

why are we even arguing about this? what's your point?

Exilement has perhaps been a tad nit-picky but I've always respected him because of the other qualities he had.

Grimm's situation had nothing to do with Exilement or his behavior, so I'm not quite seeing what you've started here, Sacred. :/ I recall there's been people on top who would provoke new members intentionally and just for good fun. I haven't seen that around here so far. It's different under a new management.

You only get more acknowledgment as a senior member because you've pretty much established that you're a person worth of at least some respect while newbies just have to prove themselves. Sadly it's this way no matter which community you'll go to. But newbies who can express themselves right etc. were never treated awfully. I still remember when Zed joined. Sure he made some ridonkulous threads at first but then he had improved and became a mod in like what, one year of being here?

I personally don't recall an instance where I was always supported no matter what I did and that's normal because nobody will always agree and put up with everyone's shit 100%.

probably because I provoked him first, which seems uncalled for in retrospect. sorry about that.

To my knowledge, you had just left at the time as a moderator and Hewitt was removed by accident whilst he was a mod. I think that might have a different impact than an average well-known 2008 or lower regular user coming back with an alternate account.

way back in like may or something i posted here and, not giving any names, someone asked me; "may i ask who you are?" which was followed by; " looking at his post count, no. no you cant" as if my post count mattered more than what i had to say. Ever since then i've stayed way away from popular threads like these.

No offense but, lemme get this straight. You chose to go home butthurt and thinking everyone around here is liek that instead of sucking it up and thinking that the asshole who called you out was the one in the wrong?

I'm sorry for what happened to you but this is the internet. One action and your reluctance to participate doesn't justify the entirety of this "popular thread". Stay, and you'll find there are others willing to treat you right.

No need to apologize. I've always respected the fact that you're willing to throw up a counter point to something you don't agree with. You can tell that when you have something to say you have knowledge or reason to back it up. However, this adds the fact that I see posts from you (more often than I do others) that seem to only have a purpose of demeaning others. I don't like hate you or anything, it's just something I noticed over the years I've been here and seen you post.

This doesn't have to do with how much respect a member has earned, but how much disrespect a newcomer shouldn't.

You should totally stick around, dude. Most of us don't really care about postcount??

Those who care are just insecure about their dicks and you should laugh at them.
