so do you want us to read it, or? I'm confused. is this not your best possible effort? obviously your first attempt isn't going to turn out great but if you're already half-assing it then why would we even bother reading it? criticism is only useful when you're actually trying your hardest, otherwise the flaws and mistakes being highlighted might just be the consequence of laziness.

either that or it is a good shot on your part and you're being too hard on yourself. whichever it is, stop it, you big silly. can't read this at work otherwise I'd check it out, just food for thought here.

Honestly, it's extremely short. No choices or anything, and there's no story. It's quite literally just a test to verify that I can actually do some of the coding. I'm planning on getting some half-decent images so I can make a longer one that has one or two choices, but yeah, all I can say is that I'm actually working to learn to use Python and ATL.

If you want the actual plot, you wake up in a desert, meet a snake guy, and he kills you and loots your body. End of story.

I'm sure there are a lot of small games in which you can start your life over and over and choose choices.

Did someone say creating a visual novel? That sounds like a lot of fun. I'd be up to join forces, but I know pretty much nothing about the program. But if you'd like, consider me a willing partner 'cause it'd be fun ;)

It's kind of an accident that I haven't posted much. I've lurked a bunch but I haven't really had much to say, lol. But I'm still here every day!

BC is more beautiful than any place I've even seen before. It's crazy. The people I'm living with now are awesome and we all get along, and things are good. My only worries are finding work, but I have enough money saved up that I'll hopefully find something long before that becomes a problem. I should actually post some pictures in the picture thread.

British Colombia? Are you in Vancouver? I'm near Vancouver. The weather's been stellar lately.

Oh man what? That's crazy. I live in Chilliwack, like an hour and some away. What's living in Vancouver like? It's such a huge city, I'd be intimidated.
Some time this summer, me and my brother are planning on going to an amusement park there. I don't even know if there's such a thing yet, but it's such a big city that I'd be surprised if there isn't one somewhere. Know any good ones by any chance? And do they charge for every ride you go on, or is there just an entrance fee?

Sadly, there aren't many yet. I do have some sweet pictures from this place called Chipmunk Caves, but most of them I took from my friend's phone so I dont actually have access to many of 'em. It's all really pretty though. Going on adventures here makes a guy feel so alive

Oh yeah man I've been seeing your pictures on Facebook. That looked like one hell of a long drive, and really pretty view.
