On a serious note though, I don't get these animations and I think I'll never will. I know it's abstract and the way that it should be interpreted is how you view it but damn man, I don't have the time to sit and think on what this video really is all about.

that's because it's not about anything. it's animation for the sake of itself, to demonstrate an art style and atmosphere separate from anything besides the technical aspect of the medium. it's not made to be accessible to most audiences.

most people react to stick figure animation the same way. also most Steve Vai songs.

Are you sure though? Normally, from what I've seen, animations like these wants to portray a message rather than try to demonstrate itself as "different".
