On an unrelated note, I'm so glad that Harper didn't win the election yesterday. I voted for the NDP so it's a bummer that the Liberals won, but whatever. It'll be interesting times ahead for Canada, for sure.

Also, my entire family is strongly conservative, so listening to them complain tomorrow will be fun too :o

The transition is painful, and so far I haven't had a lot of luck on my side. Had a few clients drop out because of lack of funds on their side and other issues. Just bad luck in general. But I'm powering through it, I have some personal projects lined up so all will go well. I am determined to make it work and I have several tricks up my sleeve which I can employ. Right now I'm focusing on just enjoying the work and being as creative as possible. The more creative the work, the easier I can find avenues to make money from it.

On another positive note, I have more time on my hands now, so I'm mostly spending that time catching up with friends and trying to come up with new ideas. I've also started 3 martial arts. Silambam (an Indian bo-staff based combat style), Jiu-Jitsu and Krav Maga. Its a slow uphill battle to get back into fighting shape. My plan is to take a year and get into good enough shape to slide back into my old boxing routine too.

Fortunately because I have my savings invested in the business, I can keep it afloat until it really hits its groove and I'm just focusing on quality now.
