Deadpool definitely. I've been too busy to watch any recent releases like Hateful Eight. I haven't seen ANY OF THE OSCAR NOMINATED FILMS FML.

I'm sure you're already planning on it but check out The Revenant asap if you haven't seen it yet

Say, can I give a theory about God?

What if... It's a society of "gods"?

And since a certain God said that we are made in his image, let's assume that this society is made of humans. What if Earth is a project to raise their descendants, via the means of (forced) evolution? Then, after the big continent was broken down into smaller pieces, the gods decide to split into different groups?

One group decided to wear animal masks to help people remember them much more easily. Hence, Egypt.

Another group decided to present themselves as mortals, superior, powerful ones, but mortals. Hence, Asia and Nordic.

As for Europe, let's imagine a guy called Bob being in charge. He decided to go about this differently, by picking random people to be his "prophets", indoctrinating them with the idea of a singular, almighty God that rule them all (wow, how prideful) As time went on, people began to abuse religion. He, well, he said "Eh" and let it happen, but his son, J, decided to get his hands dirty. And then, his grave dirty.

Enraged by his son's death, he decided to "screw it", and let everything, whether human or nature, run rampant. And then he abandoned humanity to go make a new planet altogether. Because would you still take care of your creations that murder your son? (As for why he didn't intervene, I do not know)

So, a society of overpowered people (future people?) help create the planet and civilization (with the aid of trial-'n'error evolution), then they either die of old age, or abandon it because one of them died because of humans.

Then again, it's possible that Jesus is basically a random guy indoctrinated to be a son of God. God is powerful, after all. He could do anything, including creating a fake son. So this version is basically one dickhead watching live action movie of betrayal, romance, war, death, life and everything in between.

Xate, who told you to stop dancing?

Good theory though. If we were to discuss that trajectory further, where would you theorize the origin point of these groups of Gods could possibly be?

I totally am. I have a long list of recent movies to watch. Can you believe I haven't even see Mad Max yet? I'm so ashamed.

Basically an Earth-esque planet.

I recall somebody saying that "even if you clone yourself, if you put the other you in a different environment, they'd turn out differently"

So... Basically, they try to recreate their home planet, with practical license to adjust the location to make it a lot more easier for life to develop.

Maybe that's why future people don't visit us. They create us. *woo, recursion*

I heard great things. I have to watch it again with a long list of films before my time runs out.

Speaking of time running out, my old company wants me back. They've now acquiesced to my old conditions, and want me back for a much higher post than earlier. Like how I quit last time and they promoted me to keep me, now they want to promote me again to bring me back. They've also told me that they will give me the time to make my comics as well on the side. I'm debating whether or not to take it again. It'll be a BIG step up for me on the ladder, but it would also mean a loss of freedom and time again.

Read this book called Chariots of the Gods. Some of the evidence in that book was later deemed to be fabricated but the theory itself is fascinating and similar to what you're talking about. Its about the possibility of aliens visiting, or even actively involving themselves with us at some point, which is what leads to a large amount of mythology we see today. The author uses archaeological examples to expound this theory.

Yeah!!!

Speaking of Deadpool...there's a really cool video of a hypothetical fight between him and Deathstroke which did a pretty good job, I think, of protraying Deadpool. Click here for the video if you're curious.

This channel is awesome, hes got a lot more fights. I like this how the fight was broken down too, and I somewhat agree with the outcome.

That's what I thought too! Though to be honest, I didn't know Deadpool was originally a copycat of Deathstroke when I first watched it, so the intro kind of confused me...But this video was what got me to watch more ScrewAttack! fights since they were so well made (most of the time, I still have a grudge about the Goku vs Superman... ¬_¬)

They are entertaining to watch, at the very least.

There are also ones like Hibiki vs Santa, which is bloody hilarious.

Regarding the "aliens visited us", I remembered a fish head stone drawing that someone claimed to be an astronaut suit, proving that man has traveled to the past to the Stone Age, and recorded. Which may mean that the future had tampered with our history, creating our history. Maybe someone from the future went back in time to help change the world for the better, but died in the process, being nailed to a cross. Maybe many went back into the past, trying to assassinate Hitler, contributing to the 42 failed assassination attempts against him.
