Bits. Lowercase b is bits, uppercase is bytes. Internet speed is almost always measured in bits, probably because a lot of people don't know there's a difference and assume they're getting bytes. When you're getting 100 Mb/s it's not the same as 100 MB/s. 100 Mb/s is only 12.5 MB/s. I pay for a 100 Mb/s connection and average around 9.5 MB/s when downloading, which is nice. I have a seedbox that's hosted on an internet backbone using a 10 Gb/s connection and it blows me away how fast it downloads things.

tfw i pay for 175 megabytes per second and i get about 100-150 kilobytes per second.

I don't know if anyone here has played a rather new game called "slither.io" but if you have then you know the most annoyingly broken thing in the game is when someone uses the solid black skin. It's ridiculous and you cannot see them.

If they are big and you can't see their face you end up running into them, if they are small and you're big then it is almost invisible and they just blow you up. The grey hexagons (I thought they were better represented as scales) don't illuminate everything.
