No, was it about a really long movie or something? My memory is really hazy. I'm already sad I missed out on the conversation about Mexican wrestling. I love Lucha Libre.

Yo Nish, I know you like Korean movies and I watched one recently that you might like. It's a zombie movie called Train to Busan and it's probably one of the better zombie thrillers I've seen for some time. If you're into that, try finding a subbed version, I recommend it.

Being gay is predetermined. Being a fag is a choice.

Apparently I'm the only one that hasn't watched that movie yet. Even a few of my profs in college talk about/reference the movie in their discussions.

Train to Busan. Sounds amazing, will watch it this weekend. I'm flying to Sri Lanka tonight, so hopefully I'll have some free time over the next couple of days.

I don't want to start the debate but that's very debatable.

If you're saying that being gay is not determined by birth, then I have to agree. On a technical level, homosexuality is determined by the balance of hormones in the brain. Just like any chemical imbalance (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc.), this is often developed through conditioning during the years of childhood and puberty rather than by birth. There are numerous examples of straight people becoming gay and gay people becoming straight, so it obviously has nothing to do with a permanent predetermined status.

Not advocating one thing or another here, just stating the facts, which are not open to debate :P.

While you're posting these facts that aren't open to debate, maybe you could share a source or two corroborating this idea that homosexuality is determined by a known chemical imbalance in the brain

What if the electronic you're currently using or the chair you're currently sitting on is invisible? What if everything is invisible, and you're the only one with special powers that allows you to see invisible things?

This seems like something you tell yourself when you're sucking some guy's dick on the hood of your Miata.

Gosh...read a study that came out back in...'12? You can probably google it. There is also an organization out there for gay people that want to become straight...again, read that years ago. I think it was called Gen1 or something.

I mean, in the end, it doesn't really matter why or how. If a person's gay, they're gay. If they're not, they're not. And if they want to change from one way or the other, that's their choice.

Generally speaking, in society nowadays (well, Western society) homosexuality is an accepted norm in life. Most of the intense debate (like the info I'm citing) was generated from both sides of the fight for gay rights. As to the credibility of what each side said, who knows. I pick through the info for what seems the best referenced and most logical. Now that the whole battle (at least in America) is over, I don't guess it matters all that much.
