GOTS TO GETS THEM PROTEIN FROM THAT XXXXXXXXXL BURGER FROM MCD'S AMIRITE. Sugar isn't inherently bad, it's just that people over consume it/don't work it off so the fat just keep compiling. I'm not only doing the diet for, well, losing weight (I have minimal interest in specifically losing fat, strength is my main concern, but I still do cardio) but also doing this as a favor to myself in the future. God knows what sugar filled products we'll have in the future, and I want to get rid of any sort of addiction before my life or general future in terms of health and athletics is fucked.
You do rock climbing? I had no idea haha. Grip strength is actually something I have been having a bit of problem with, and since it's such a major part in rugby (Specifically in lineups where I lift a person from behind with my hands and forearms), I'm almost tempted to join the local rock climbing club in my school. For now I've been timing myself with how long I can hold dumbbells and doing four sets of that length, circa 1-2 minute break between. Current record is one minute with 18 kilos. There's no need to feel ashamed for doing it specifically for health reasons, hell, it's good that you do it for your health. A healthy body is a good way of keeping yourself happy.
tfw when you don't know how much fat you have in your body, so you just want to make sure to consume it just right or else it just keeps storing in your abs. Hence abs exercises are the hardest of all.
Your school have a rock climbing club? Lucky. I have to drive 30 mins to the nearest rock climbing gym if I want to climb. So sometimes I become so lazy that I feel like skipping it and ruining my whole entire routine. And that I have to come ahead of time to beat out the traffic as well. Gotta take advantages of what you have man. It's fresh af after you realize how much stronger you get over the months. And it extremely helps with rugby as well, so consider it as an option.
i keep it simple with eggs in the morning, grilled chicken with rice and beans for lunch + dinner, and a slice of bread with nutella on it right before the gym
Keep it classy.
