Indeed. I watch some of them when I have time. Usually Nova or Sly.

Yeah, I think Nova's hilarious. Sly seems kind of annoying though.
Fuck nature, seriously. It RAINED during the transit of Venus, and it was too cloudy for me to properly see the sun at any point before it set.

A Flux Pavillion style I'm trying out. Want to see if you guys like it
Jun 6, 2012 3:18 PM #671511
The overall sound of the synths or whatever was far too bright for me, to the point where it was somewhat unpleasant to hear. Some of the higher-pitched noises were especially bad.

Not bad man, Pretty good but its lacking that power that flux pavilion has.
What VST's are you using? When i was still into that shit i got a pretty good sounding flux pavilion patch from massive.
maybe try to detune the osc's more or maybe layer some voices of it.
Depending on your vst you could put a envelope with little attack no sustain and you prefered decay mapped to the pitch 12+, just like you would if you made a 808.
Gives it that extra punch imo.
ya i agree with what fusion said, i would maybe drop that high pitch shit down a octave and the bass down one too.
idk just fuck with your ranges cause it all seems pretty high.

I was using Massive, Glitch, and bit crusher.
Jun 6, 2012 3:26 PM #671515
yeah massive is great for everything due to how you map everything to everything.
I stopped fucking with dubstep a long time ago but it seemed like whenever i just tried random shit i would get that good "sound" haha.
Speaking of music production, i think i am about to go sell my turntables and setup to get more midi gear. But idk because i dont feel like selling it and guitar center is gonna rip my ass with a trade in. My friend just got a maschine but those are just a glorified midi controller. I think im set on the MPD 32 and maybe a simple midi keyboard.
however i really would rather save up and get all hardware though, My bitch's dad gave me this old Novation Bass Station and i just love having tangible parameters.

For DJing, I really love using Traktor S4. The thing cost me like over $900.
