I've noticed the general census is that humid heat is worse. But most of those people haven't lived in dry areas.
Though when I visited texas It was like unbelievably hot, my flip flops melted to the ground and it was like I could hear the radiation off the sun. That was a long time ago going through one of the deserts in that area. Can't imagine how bad it is now.

There's just too many interesting languages. How am I going to learn all of them?

I've recently spent a few weeks in Pheonix and Hawaii. That doesn't give me a massive perspective, but in my opinion, humid heat's worse. The feel on your hands and skin is just awful. Pheonix was about 15-20 degrees hotter, and it felt like you were swimming through waves of heat. This was mostly just because it was a higher temperature, though. When I was in Japan, a year back, and it got over 100, it was pure agony - the "swimming" sensation was doubled and you sweated up a storm.

i could run a mile in a texan heat-wave easily because the humidity is so low. In australia (or at least where I am) the hot season is also the wet season, so it is not uncommon to have 40+C and 90%+ humidity. You can die in 4 hours in the sun even if you're well hydrated because of how hot and humid it can get.

Perth is kind of normal I guess. It isn't really humid, it isn't that hot (except right in the middle of summer sometimes when it gets to like 40 degrees). And it isn't that cold in the winter.

it goes from about 10-40 here usually. It got to 43 once and got down to 7 the other night.
