I got used to it. The shock was reduced a bit because I was inactive for a month or two before it happened. I only found out about my powerlessness when I came back to make Index an admin and officially resign. Of course, once I saw I'd been forced out rather than being allowed to go quietly my mission became to get back in by any means necessary.
