Oh my gosh that is the worst
My biggest problem with the PS3 when I played it is that it was only 'halfway' backwards compatible. A seemingly random set of games would do very strange things like lagging to unplayability on the PS3, when they ran fine on their original systems. But then some other games would run fine.

Well, at least that is better than the XBox One and it's not-backwards-compatible crap.

The thing I hate the most about is their way of preventing "piracy", or in simple terms letting your friends borrow a game from you. You have to pay a fee every time you get a used game from some game place or borrowing a game from your friends. One rumor I've heard about this is that you would have to pay 3x-4x more than how much the original retail price of the game you borrowed would be. Take Assassin's Creed 3 for example. It's $27.99 for a used game. Now, if you are to have bought it from Gamestop and download it on your XBox One, you would have to pay an additional fee for it. And later, because of the game was already downloaded on another XBox One, you would have to pay another god damn fee. Now, in some people's guesses in belief of the rumour, that is a total cost of $100.00. Now I'm not saying that this is true because this is all on speculations. But, the XBox One is SOPA, but it doesn't censor. It fines you.

There is no way they would make you pay more then the retail price. That doesn't even make sense. The uncertainty is whether it will be the full retail price or a smaller fee.
They aren't fining you, they are making you pay for a licence to use the game in another computer.
What I think the biggest question is will this money be going into the hands of the developers or straight into Microsoft's pockets.

Good question. I think I will try to look into that

Well it was based on speculation and rumours, so I'm not saying it is likely going to happen.

Well I got a PS3, I'm not sure if I should get the PS4, but I'll avoid getting the Xbox One though.

That's kind of stupid, to be honest. Reviewing a game or doing a Let's Play on a game isn't really copyright material to be taxing people on.

I don't think LP's have any right to complain that they have rights, but I still think it was a bad situation on Nintendo's part if their situation looks as it seems.

Nintendo used to be cool, but now I think they're running out of ideas (like mos of the gaming industry). They need to do something besides make a bunch of remake games. I was disappointed in the 3Ds and I'm not to happy with the Wii and the Wii U. I thought the Gamecube was the best gaming console there was and I liked it, but now they have all this motion sensing and other unnecessary shit on consoles. What the fuck happened when video games were fun? Now it seems like they don't want video games and want to make consoles more like the iPhone shit.

Creativity is unlimited, but it is not infinite. I think the producers ran out of good ideas and released things through lazy. As with Sonic. It's hard for many people to accept it... but what can we do? peharps provide ideas?

I think this happened.

Maybe we should e-mail them and give them ideas on how to make the console not suck lol.

I'll have to say that the Wii is still an underrated console in some aspects. People focus too much on complaining about the gimmicks than actually looking at the games themselves.

The only Wii games I actually liked were Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Twilight Princess, and Super Mario Galaxy.

I prefer Kinect. Imagine how is playing a horror game with Kinect and 3D glasses.

That would be really fun. :D
