This might not be too popular on this forum but... I dont get the appeal when people put their name at the end of their post
for example
Quote from John
Nice animation you suck at animating!

~john.

We can clearly see the name of the person who posted it. Theirs no point in doing it :P

I guess it's weird, but it makes a lot more sense than putting a promotional image from Destiny under every single post you make.

not to single you out or anything

I like the game wat can I say? So I put it in my signature.

Not like you don't have anything in your signature :|

But I mean if they like their name so much they could put it in their signature. Very pointless to say it over and over in a post.

jesus christ you're a defensive one.

my point was that it's strange how signing your posts with your name is considered strange, but affixing some random image to every single one of your posts is considered normal. it applies to everyone, including me, that's why I said "not to single you out or anything". it was an observation from an objective standpoint, not a criticism of your choice of forum signature.

but thank you for going out of your way to point out the fact that I have a signature, I had no idea. good thing you included an arrow and circled it, otherwise I might have been confused

Nothing: once, while I was checking the threads, I saw hewitt's post on an "Introduce Yourself" thread; being curious about what he wrote, I checked it out and saw it was ordinary administration; however, the way he separated the sentences stimulated me to see it ironically and thus I decided to "accidentally" cut a part of it and put it on my signature

Oh dipi, just tell him you wanted to slander me like what Tecness did.

I'm just kidding, but I've always been bothered by that. It's given a few misappropriations around here and having users jump on me when I first stepped down as they thought I was actually stripped :D Don't you think that such a sig is kinda bad in context to flaunt around?

Not that I care because I cant see any sig when I log in.

My friend showed me an edited version of Friends, in which the laughter track had been removed, it's actually really weird because they just pause between a lot of their lines.
