Meh, I'm not sure if I'll be able to do coop. That would be a bit difficult.

Make a mode where you play as a zombie in group trying to take over a stronghold.

I'm not gonna do any playable zombies. Maybe a different game, with Battlefront-esque deaths, where you just spawn as another zombie, and have a limited amount of spawn-ins. The problem with playing as a zombie is that it's hard to add variety to it without going the way of Stubbs and just adding the ability to do things like bowl people over with your head.

how about a character that can carry three weapons?
i wouldn't know what that would be called though =/
and the medic can stop the health drain from being bit?

I got an idea for the class.

The civilian, average player but knows the area very well. Though that wouldn't make sense since the cop may know more about the town than average joe.

A challenge mode?
Basicly just survival, except you get certian objectives.
Maybe earn cash/points from completing it.
Or maybe just incorperate it into the main game?

Also make some classes unlockable, using cash/points.

Class:Homeless Person.
Health:average
Damage:average
Speed:fast
Special ability:Hides in box making him undetecable, but can only use for a very brief time. Maybe it recharges?

That sounds okay, though since I want to make exploration a key part of the gameplay, I'll give him the ability to run faster.

@Stare: That sounds okay, but I think it would work better to give the homeless drunk the ability to "zombie walk" amoung the zombies without detection (After all, he's a homeless drunk). And I'm not going to make him faster, just normal speed, but he'll also be able to gain health from alcohol, unlike other characters.

What about an asylum escapee? does enhanced damage with every weapon, but takes in extra damage, and has little to no armour, infections spread faster on escapee.

Hmm,how about something like.A whole building is filled with zombies.And your playing as a zombie slayer.You have to travel out through each level within the building and kill every zombie that gets in your face.And you work with some kind of goverment thingy or like you have your buddys lab that is equipped with loads of weapons!And you get to carry like 5 or 7?And at like the top of the building.You battle the Zombie King and the Zombie Queen.But before that.You have to battle with a half zombie half devil kind of person.
And then you have a mode where you can die in 1 hit.Hell or Heaven(Copied from Devil May Cry)Lol..Stick May Cry

And you get to upgrade your body armor thats cool and stuff.You get to do speed kills and at the 2nd last level as I said.When you battle the half zombie half devil kind of person,you fail.But,you don't actually fail.You start hitting him and stuff but it dosen't do damage and you get damage with one blow from him.Then you get like half life.Then he bites you and you go beserk.You get like aura around you and you get like a glowing white thing outlining your body and everything inverts.(Most of the ideas are from different games I've played)and the game play gets like double screened when hit.

Yeah basicly thats what I'm thinking about the game play.

No. You obviously have very little experience in game design, or none at all.

And besides, that sounds like some bullshit ending to a generic anime.

From the 2 pages I've read, it's sounds exactly like Boxhead plus classes.

Boxhead is one of my inspirations, but my game going to focus more on exploration, survival, and weapon balance than just droppinng barrels and shooting. The only similarity will be in the theme.

I'm talking about the original Boxhead, which was pretty much that but in flash and without classes.
