Marcus yelled at Jessica, "this is what he wants. You will have your answers but if you choose to wander off on your own selfish agenda the group and the mission will be in jeopardy. Com your senses."

Jessica punched a tree next to her, a few leaves fell off from it and she tightened her fist. She heard Marcus calling her out from something he had done in the past. Between the decision from chasing the demon or follow the path to Ravenholt she turned to Marcus and said to him as she walked by towards the path to Ravenholt "How hypocrite can some angels be.." she said in a raher angry tone and kept walking "Well then let's go, I don't want to interrupt the mission with my selfishness". Her steps could be heard on the ground.

The path was winding, twisting, and narrow, but otherwise seemed no more dangerous than any other. The morning sun was high in the sky, and Ravin looked at it with awe. He liked to imagine the sun was the bridge between this life and heaven, so in order to complete his service, he must get up there, one way or another. All in due time, though.
The sudden shouting at the trees caused him to start. Jess was yelling something about 'that night' at a dark small path off to the side. Quickly drawing Cerulean with his right hand, he approached Jess from behind, but maintaining his distance. His hand brushed Kol's signature on the guard of the sword. It gave him comfort to know that he was essentially carrying a sibling with him, though one that wasn't much for conversation. Unlike the other two, who he considered more like rude housemates.
"Lady Jessica, are you alright? You seem to be-" he cut himself short upon seeing the glowing red eyes. He had seen them once before, and that involved the slaughter of innocents. His grip tightened on his sword. with his left hand, he gripped the vial of ash on his neck. When Jessica began to walk away, Ravin glared at the eyes for a bit longer, before following. Thoughts of justice crossed his minds. The ways he wanted to make him suffer. After Jess of course. She deserved to kill the bastard at least three times based on how much she hated him.

Trotting behind Marcus she kept looking at him and tilting her head. She had stolen a cookie from him and was still munching on the delicious pastry savoring it as if it was the last piece of food. Liss was hardly paying attention but grabbed onto the angels hand looking up at him from time to time. "You really look better with your hair cut." Liss nibbled on an end piece before swinging their arms cutely she watched where she stepped. A painful ringing noise entered her head as she was forced to feel her horns grow. "Hmph... stop." Liss mumbled pretty angrily to herslf as she gripped her lovers hand looking at Jessica punching an innocent tree. Liss watched the leaves fall until she looked over seeing the red eyes. "Red means nope." Liss eventually slid her arm around Marcus before slipping up on her own legs wincing. "This ringing in my head is really bothering me now..."

"Jessica, I served the Ravenholt family for over 20 years before I learned they were vampires. They seemed to genuinely care about the city's well being." Ahriman followed everyone's gaze to the red eyes in the distance. "Marcus knows as well as I do that a demon will try to divert us, to trick us into going the wrong direction. Remember that Hell's agents also seek the feathers, and they will try to stall us."

Liss made Marcus smile and laugh with joy from her cuteness. "Thank you, I thought it was time that it cut my hair again."
Marcus didn't know who to respond too first, Liss or Jess. He could help the anger in his tongue when Jessica turned and began to mouth off at him. He squeezed Liss a bit harder, but not enough to hurt her. "Hypocritical? Don't be dense, woman, I'm just giving you the same advice that you gave me. If you believe this endeavor is the utmost important right now then go, face your demons, but do it without me. You already know where I stand on this matter."

Jessica isquite assertive when it comesto discussions, specially now that the demon provoked her. But what could she do? that demon was probably the oneswho took everything she loved away from her she just can't ignore it or pretend that it didn't happen or not be affected by it at all she stopped walking and turned to him once again saying "HA, It's quite funny that you say that, after offering me your help to deal with this damn demon. You have NO idea at all how I feel every single second of the day thinking on that filthy demon that killed my entire family years ago. You don't know what it's like to have a family and then have someone tear everything apart!!!" her tone grew with each word but also her eyes went glassy "You don't know what is it like to sleep alone in the middle or the forest.... knowing that you're completly alone, wishing for someone to give you a few words of comfort, bearing years and years of pain..." she couldn't help it but let go a tear from her eyes as her voice got a bit shaky "I can't ignore it... I can't pretend that it didn't happen... I'd give my life in exchange for a few more seconds with my family..." she covered her face with one hand as she turned her back to him and kept walking towards Ravenholt.

Marcus chose not to fuel Jessicas fire. It was obvious that she was blinded by anger to the point where it was affecting her memory. Marcus had experienced thousands of years of war and death, and was forbidden from grieving for those those hat he lost. He didn't even have a family. Truthfully, Jessicas words hurt Marcus a bit on those ha the inside as he began those ha the think about all km these things, but in the end he bit his tongue. All he could say was, "yup, you're absolutely right, let's keep going." He hadn't realized how tightly he was pulling Liss into him, subconsciously reaching out for her comforting embrace.

Desmond watched the shouting match devolve into Jessica simply leaving. His brows furrowed, worried about what could happen if this continued but he could barely do anything. Marcus and Jessica are two large things in the group, if they bump each other, somethings gonna budge. From what it seems, they're at a standstill.
There is nothing but eyes. Ghan said telepathically, his tone flat as can be.
"I know but it looks to be affecting our group. The demon known as Tibalt is constantly bugging Jessica it seems," Desmond observed.
Connected to her past? The construct asked as he walked beside his master.
"She just said that it was," The stitcher sighed. "Let's keep moving."

She mumbled to him "You're lying..." knowing for sure that according to his heartbeats he was just trying to make her shut up by 'agreeing' with her. She kept walking, still upset for Marcus attitude. He may have been at war... but the feeling of losing everyone you once loved is certainly worse than anything.

Gabriel watched the two of them carefully, but he didn't want to step in. This was a conversation that he had no part in.
All that he resolved to do without hesitation was that he would be there with Jessica in every step of the way. He would just have to make sure that no one made a rash decision that could get them killed. He could do that much, at least. He stepped closer to Jessica's side, touching his hand with hers. Letting her know that he was behind whatever she decided to do.

She snifed as she felt Gabriel's hand on hers. She didn't say anything, but she holded his hand tightly for a few seconds, it was another way to say "thank you". She breathed deeply and started to calm down slowly, tho the memories and the demon's words were still on her head keeping her distracted, not being able to forget them.

The demon prince watched, amused as the group began to walk away from the narrow path beside them. There was another chuckle in Jessica's head, this time more like a deafening, maniacal laughter.
Too bad you won't let me give you answers, he replied, It would be a shame if the same thing that happened to your brother happened to Gabriel.

Jessica's eyes widened and stopped walking, she turned her head to Gabriel but she didn't say anything. She let go his hand and kept walking slowly steping away from Gabriel but continuing her way on the road. Jessica then tried to communicate with the demon with her thoughts "Leave him out of this... he hasn't done anything to you, what do you want from me?... I'll be glad to beat the answers out of that filthy hole you call mouth. And why do you know what happened to my brother."
