Marcus decided it would be best to help Jessica out with the barn. With Liss still on his back, Marcus followed after Jessica.

Boris followed Septimius to the library in search for clues. The whole damn place is blanketed in dust and cobwebs, but there wasn't much time to waste.

"This might take a while, Septimius, we should-" Boris turned and see the young mage reading through tome after tome. He hasn't seen him this joyful around books, but it's better to have a worthy bookworm than one who doesn't enjoy reading.

Boris searched through the library for any clues; scanning through the old pages of books for anything the Count left behind. Wonder how much luck Septimius is having?

The stitcher nodded to his allies as they left for their missions, the Minister finally appeared but '20' still ringed in his head. Either way, he tailed Septimius and Boris; Ghan wasn't too far behind his master.

The library was old and decrepit. To think vampires nobles would keep such a place this deserted, that in their age they would value knowledge above all else besides their hunger. Unless they knowledge transferred by word of mouth. In that case they're incredibly more advanced than humans are.

Desmond looked to Ghan. Go search around, keep an eye out for the shadows. No one enters without my knowing.

The companion nodded and left to patrol the perimeter while Desmond went along with clues in his head.

What is my name?

20...

Alphabetically, 20 is 'T'

The Minister's grave marker is the twentieth..He doubts but it what it leads to. The Minister's name is the only thing unmentioned in the tombstones. Was he a resident of Ravenholt?

The stitcher continued to the history books, to the history of Ravenholt itself. He gathered what he can from the books and piled them onto a table, searching...scanning for whatever could lead to anything with the clues they had. He wasn't much of a reader but he enjoyed books as a child, his observational and comprehension skills should be handy.

Septimius and Boris entered the library, with Desmond and Ghan following close behind. They assumed it would be old, decrepit and abandoned beyond belief. However, to their surprise, Upon entering the Library, it seemed to be lit very well and actually quite welcoming. Books were placed haphazardly every which way in every shelf. There didn't seem to be anything truly = out of the ordinary about the bookshelves or anything surrounding them.

"Hello," A woman's voice called. As they turned, they saw an old woman with graying hair behind the desk, a book in her grasp. She seemed rather nice and friendly. Currently the librarian is the only one in the vicinity, however, so it might as well be abandoned. The group notices that there is a back room in the Library, but upon trying it they realize that the door is locked and cannot possibly be broken down.

Meanwhile, at almost the other side of town, Jessica ran to the barn, with Marcus and Liss following close behind. Upon first glance, it seemed that the barn was rather ordinary. It was big, and red, just like anything you may see in cliche movies. As they cautiously stepped in the vicinity, the inside of the barn seemed much larger than it looked from the outside. Looking down, there were beds made from straw set up on the cold dirt ground, and they looked as though they had been laid upon before. There were enough spots for eight people to lie down on, however as they looked forward there were only five inside of the Barn. The five humans left in the barn were all passed out in their respective beds of straw.

As the trio looked at the bodies more closely, it became evident that waking them up didn't look like it was an option, because their skin was pale and their lips were blue. It looks like all of their blood other than just enough to keep a faint heartbeat had been drained right out of them. On the wall to the left there were setups of whips and chains, as well as shackles and tables covered in straps.

"Whoever owns these humans are into some pretty sick shit," Marcus said with a growl.

As they looked for clues, they couldn't help but wonder what had happened to the other three humans here.

"Beautiful..." The words escaped his lips as he gazed around. Through the chaos he saw heaps of knowledge, books he had never seen before everywhere. "I would like to browse and and look around if you please." He looked like a kid in a candy store and set off. He opened and closed many books, flipping through and placing them back onto the teetering heaps. He began collecting a mass under his arm and he plopped down under a light and laid the books around him. The books all had incantation circles on their covers, books of old magic and alchemy, and he became engrossed, poring over the old literature. He would only get up to shuffle through the heaps of scrolls to take a handful and unroll them in front of the books. He seemed to all but forgotten about the mission at hand as he was pit against such a massive mine of rare knowledge.

Desmond found himself in a classy place, somewhere he felt uncomfortable but had to be in.

The stitcher nods Stay outside and go search around, keep an eye out for the shadows. No one enters without my knowing.

Desmond points to Septimius: "I'm with him," and promptly continues to go inside. The vastness of the library looked awesome. He hasn't seen so many books in one place. Then the clues begin to spur in his head.

As he lays the books to the table, he noticed the lone door at the back. Curiosity piqued, he closed the distance between himself and the barred door. He examined it and tried to be as discreet as possible.

As the mage is lost within the building of knowledge, Boris notices an old lady grasping a tome in her hands. What is she doing here? Why is she the only one here in this library? How didn't the mage notice the only elderly woman here?

"Um... hello?" Boris greeted with increasing concern. "Who might you be?"

This seems unusual; she may look innocent, but Boris isn't sure if he can trust her entirely. She might hold something that might prove valuable to their search, or she could be a red herring and kill them before they at least expect it. What is the probability rate in getting answers from the old woman? Boris slowly walks towards the elder for a closer and personal view of her character.

Jessica gasped as she and the others entered the barn, 5 poor humans were practically agonizing on straw beds, they were probably victims of a vampire. She replied shortly to Marcus "They don't belong to anyone...". Once she entered Jessica took a closer look at the humans, they were weak and their hearts were barely beating, she tightened her fists and said angrily "These animals.... I swear I'm not leaving this town until all these humans are free".

She sighed deeply, frustrated for not being able to help them immediately. Jessica also noticed that 3 persons were missing considering the amount of beds and the people in the barn at the moment. She decided to look for something useful among the people on the beds and then look around the walls of the barn, maybe there's a secret room? Or an unusual object nearby?.

Marcus entered the barn with a grim look on his face. "Yeah they've definitely been using these humans for food."

Looking around he noticed the wall with instruments of... torture? Why would someone torture their food? This just did not make any sense. The nobles were supposed to be well, noble. Perhaps these instruments of pain might yeald some sort of clue as to what happened to the missing humans.

Marcus and Jessica both began to look around. Jessica more focused on the people, and she began to take notice of the five people. All of them had cuts, bruises, and harsh bite marks on their face and body. One of them was a child, not more than 8 years old, breathing in gasps in his coma that came from blood loss. Next to him, an old man in his seventies or eighties. Two were seemingly normal, well-built men, and then she came upon the last person. It was a pregnant woman. She was alive, but due to there being virtually no blood, it was obvious that the baby could not have lived. It was horrifying.

Marcus began to look at the instruments of torture. Shackles, chains, whips, and other weaponry that can be classified as absolutely torturous weapons. He was about to turn on his heels, absolutely disgusted, before something appeared in the corner of his eye, glinting against the drowning sunlight of late afternoon through the window: An iron maiden.

Meanwhile, Septimius was searching through the tomes while Desmond stuck to the shadows. Boris seemed to be the only one to speak to the librarian. The old woman poked her glasses to fit against her face and smiled, "I am the librarian. The one who pays for and runs this little place. Nobody comes here, but gosh do I love books. My favorite is in that back room over there, but I can't place where the key could be."

As Boris looked to the book, he noticed there was a fisherman on the cover.

The stitcher begins his investigation of the door. He checks out the portal's hinges and the knob itself. It might be possible not to open the door the usual way and if anything, things that are locked like this holds secrets. Or clues.

And why does a library have a locked room?

Desmond then notices the keyhole. They had two more keys. One was with Marcus and the other...Boris!

The stitcher moved away from the door and dashed for the avian master. When he arrived, he tried not to look flustered from his run and approached Boris.

"Boris," Desmond smiled, a fake one for the librarian, "I got to show you something."

"This is horrible.... I can't...". Jessica couldn't help it but let go a tear, she has seen countless dead bodies in her life, but watching these people living their everyday like this it was a torture that couldn't be described "Nobles my ass... they're worse than the filthy animals that call themselves vampires. Don't worry... I'll get you out of here soon, just hang on". Jessica steped up and joined Marcus on his research, after a few seconds tho he spoted something intersting.... Jessica could only feel the huge metal statue, it made her feel uncomfortable in some way. She turned to Marcus but didn't say anything, and she slowly started to approach the object.

Boris gazed at the book the lady is holding.

"That's an interesting book you have there... what story are you holding in your hands?"

He was then interrupted by Desmond, who wanted to show him something.

"U-uh, will you excuse me for a second?" Boris then left with Desmond, leading him to the locked door the librarian mentioned earlier.

"She just told me about this seconds ago. She did say that her favorite book is inside there, but what does she mean?"

"Hmm? Her favorite book? Under a lock and key?" Desmond wondered aloud. "You have one of the keys right? We have a locked door. It might open it, even if it doesn't at least we can scratch one door out for that key."

Ahriman, following Desmond, mused "Has anyone considered that it is not the name of a person, but the name of the tomb itself we are searching for? In which case, it would be a true name we seek."
