"Now that you mention it," Boris pulled out the copper key that he found next to that sales book.
"Do you think it'll fit?"

"I'm not entirely sure, Boris," Desmond confided. "But right now, its more of trial and error with the keys since we only have one shot with the tombstone riddle."
The stitcher looked to Ahriman. "The true name? I don't follow." He said, genuinely confused.

"Amazing... Wonderful!" He found himself stating as he flipped through the crisp pages, his one hand tightly around the leather binding as another slid against the parchment, his index finger a tracking point. He went from book to scroll and back, comparing ideas, connecting ideas, and creating some of his own. He got up from his little shelter and approached the old lady, excitement in his eyes. "This is incredible, I could never have fathomed that here would exist such an amazing and vast quantity of knowledge. Have you worked here long? I'm curious are there more books than these?" He noticed the one she was holding and his head tilted slightly in confusion. He had only found journals, findings, and history, he hadn't noticed any works of fiction. "May I ask what that book is?"

"Might as well give it a try," Boris suggested.
Just hope this key actually fits in one of the two holes. If the librarian said that her favorite book is behind that door, then why is it behind there in the first place? Is it that valuable to her elderly eyes? Or is it far more than that?

As the copper key went into the door, they found that....it didn't fit. The key must have only been there for show and nothing more. Perplexed, they all walked back to the librarian, who looked up from her fisherman's novel. "I wish I could tell you where the key is, I really do. All I remember is misplacing it in some shack, but there are so many shacks around here."
Meanwhile, The Minister finally decided that the ink mark on the man's neck signified that he was to cut it there. As the satanic voices continued to ramble in his head he swing his sword back. At that same moment the man opens his eyes and looks up at The Minister almost as if to say "Don't do it!". He cannot speak, because his tongue has been cut out, signifying the blood that gushed out when he opened his mouth. He don't notice the man looking at him until the sword cuts through his head, launching it to the ceiling as the weight of the chandelier shot it through the air. As the lit candles collided with the books, they immediately went up in a levy of bright orange flames. A stream of blood mixed with oil instantly ignited, and streamed all over the walls. Standing in the now burning church, you could read plain as day the bloody message all over the walls. "2" appeared a dozen times on every wall in the church as you began to hear satanic laughter in your head.

Desmond slams his enclosed fist onto his open palm. "Boris! Have your birds found any shacks around? And, um..miss librarian, where do you usually go? We may find the key for you." Desmond asked, as he looked to Boris and the Librarian for answers.

Marcus walked over to the iron maiden and tried to pry it open, but to no avail. "Jessica, can you come give me a hand with this?" He was determined the two of them could pull the damn thing open.

Jessica got closer to the iron maiden "Alright, let's see what's inside..." she then attempted to open the iron object with Marcus' help.

As Marcus and Jessica approach the iron maiden, they could see bright white eyes peering at them through a hole in the device, staring into their souls menacingly. It was...it was a person. Jessica drew in a gasp. Hoping the person was somehow still alive, they both quickly unlatch the handle on the side of the iron maiden and try their very hardest to pry it open and save the person within. Something continues to work against them as if they were going against a continuous tide, but neither Jessica or Marcus cared as they kept prying away with all of their strength. There is a crippling, bone cracking noise that resounds in their ears as they finally jerk the door open. As they open their eyes fully, Marcus draws in a breath of pure horror. There, in front of the both of them, was the man. However, they saw that the man's arms, legs, and head were impaled upon massive spikes in the back of the iron maiden, and his torso had been ripped from his limbs by the door of the iron maiden. They look in horror where the man's torso should be, and see something written on the inside of the iron maiden in blood.
"13".
"13".

The minister brandished his duel crossbows.
"SHOW YOURSELF, DEMON!" he shouted to the laughter.
He ignored the fire billowing around him, however not shoving it completely out of his mind. He tried to register the position of every "2", wondering what the number meant. He'd been in traps like this a million times, but never had he felt such a strong sense of doom.

"So you wish to see me in the flesh," a being calls into The Minister's mind amongst other laughter, "You make a grave mistake calling me."
In the midst of the ever growing flames that now began to surround the male, a demonic figure emerged from the shadows in front of The Minister. He was wielding nothing but a torch, which he threw to the side to only aid the fiery tendrils that went up the walls. He turned to The Minister, his tail wagging back and forth, before speaking once more.

Minister spun to the left, using his trench coat to somewhat bull fight the tail. He tried to stomp the tail towards the ground with his heavy boots and shoot a bolt into it, to secure it to the floor. Should that work he would dive backwards from the beast, taking a few pot shots at it's torso or head.

"DAMIT!" Jessica said in anger and frustration as she turned from the Iron maiden, according to Marcus there was a 13 written on it with blood, she felt frustration for not being able to do much to help all these people that were suffering a horrible torture everyday. "After we sort all these stupid riddles out, I swear I'm gonna cut off that court's head... what the vampires do here have no description...".
She sighed deeply and turned her head to the ground, after a few seconds she could calm down and said "Let's go to the other places, we need to check either the sawmill or the fisherman shack...." she frowned slightly as she continued "tho I'd rather to go to the sawmill.... is that ok with you Marcus?"

Septimius scratched the back of his head, she left the key in a shack. What shack? He looked at the book and remembered how one of the places they had to check was a fisherman sheck. "A fisherman shack... Isn't that one of the places your birds spotted? We should head that way." He looked at the books he still hadn't read. "Maybe you two should head out there and I'll just say here. I mean you'll have to come back here anyways right? I'll just stay here and read some more. Maybe I'll find something that'll help us."

Marcus nodded at Jessica's plan. "Yes, we should try to finish this sick twisted game as fast as possible. I'd rather us not end up in these strange torture devices.
With that, Marcus collected himself with Lissette still on his back. He placed his arms on hers for comfort. Marcus hoped she didn't feel ignored up there, he just did not want to bother her while he helped Jessica with this puzzle. Even in all of this satanic bloodshed, Marcus found peace in the thought of being with Lissette forever. Determined to finish the count's sick games, Marcus and Jessica set off to the sawmill.
