Well some people say that date will be the end of the world because the Myan's calender ends on that day.
So basically the earth will be lined up with the sun for the first time in 26,000 years and there have been lots of solar flares coming from the sun recently.And they say we're gonna get hit by it or whatnot.
Do you believe in this or not?

No, honestly, if everyone paniced every time someone with a cut-and-past PH.D. said that the world was coming to an end, then we wouldn't have enough time to sleep.

Just relax. If the universe were coming to an end, then more refutable scientists would be vocal about it, and even so, there's nothing we can do about it in the next 4 years.

The christian bible states that the apocolypse will appear in the 2012, also london, yes england is hold the olympics, there for the amount of foriegners against the police forces will over power us and sink the wold into self desctruction some how.

My opinion, the guy(s) who made the mayan calendar were killed while making it. I heard there was blood on the last day of the calendar (not that it matters), and there were a lot of things that could easily kill mayans, namely themselves. =/. The mayans talking about the twin towers was a coincidence. There were many stunning coincidences, one of which might be our very own existence, in history, and I'm sure prehistory. The mayans saying a vague thing that can be related to sky scrapers being DEEEEEEstrOOYD by terrorists has more holes in it than otherwise.

About the bible: It is not infallible. It was written by who? God? no. It is a guideline text for Christianity developed by http://www.carm.org/bible/biblewhen.htm, none of whom were proven as infallible. In fact, the one who would have written the coming of Ragnarok would have been proven wrong by 2013, questioning more of the bible, or even Christianity altogether. Moses and the others who have written books in the bible were shown by faith to be infallible, or a bridge between god and people, but it is not enough to full-heartedly believe that the world will end at a certain point.

To those of you who believe the world will end, which I respect, remember. We will all go through the same exact thing you'll be going through. Get together with a bunch of people, get drunk, **** with other scared drunks, and leave this world happy.

Also, have you even read ANY factual evidence on the Mayan calendar? It ends because that's the point at which they needed to start over on their calendar. It's designed to only measure X years at once.
