You tell me, are you for it or against it? Why or why not?

It isn't moral and it isn't immoral. It doesn't help anybody and it doesn't harm anybody.

Morality is something which only applies to actions. Homosexuality isn't an action - it's what you are. You might as well ask whether or not it's moral to have fingers.

If you're asking if same-sex sexual activity is morally acceptable then the answer is obviously yes under any serious moral system. The only secular argument I have seen that attempts to claim the contrary is that gay sex doesn't produce children, and therefore gay people do not fulfill their evolutionary duties. But this is nonsense. Gay people are perfectly capable of having and raising children (even biological children--it happens pretty often actually). Also, it's not apparent that any concept of evolutionary duty is reasonable at all.

Do you mean to be a homosexual or to act and make actions like a homosexual? For example, you're not gay, but you like to have sex with the same sex sometimes, or you are gay and you only find the same sex attractive..?

If you're not gay but you like to have sex with the person of your sex then you are gay, or bisexual if you like both boys and girls.

Sexuality and morality are two separate things, and do not apply to one another. And being homosexual has little to no effect on making moral choices, so this is a silly question.

What does this even mean

This question is a bit vague but I'll answer simply. No and by that I don't mean it's immoral either. I mean I don't think that morals should factor in to something as uncontrollable as sexuality, so long as no one is getting harmed, unless they're into that, then more power them.
It depends what you mean by "for it". If by that you mean "Allowing people the right to be themselves and to have more sexual freedom without fear of prejudice and stigma." then yes, I'm for it.
But I'm definitely not against it, mostly because I don't believe things an overly translated book told me.

Jutsu no, what are you doing

Saying the truth, the vast majority of people who see homosexuality as immoral are people whom read it in translated versions of the bible or were raised by people whom read it in translated versions of the bible.
In other words it's an asinine social construct.
You can't help but inevitably get to the nitty gritty of the topic which is religion, seeing as how it was religion that ever attempted to establish sexuality as immoral.

Well if someone wants to make an argument from religion we can talk about that then, until then let's not turn this into another religion bashing thread for no reason.
Agreed with scarecrow and zed so far. This isn't an issue of morality.

You're right, my hasty quashing of that topic is preemptive. I've already decided that when the debate takes an inevitable turn that direction I'll let someone else tackle it.
I agree with Zed and Scarecrow too.

Since when did I ever bring religion into here? Maybe I should have rephrased the topic of this debate.

So far we've all agreed that it's not a moral issue and it's not wrong in any other sense, so he's just trying to find some reason why someone would think it's immoral. Religion really is the only reason one might think so in this day and age, so that's why he brought it up.
Why don't you share your views with us, since it's your thread?
