Gotta give it to Alpha. That "get rekt" combo was epic. You don't have an ending though...
Setto - try making your moves more natural. Your animation looked stiff compared to Seagull's. Example, when your figures stand up, don't just make them levitate off the floor. They need to use their hands for support. Also, why no sound?

I don't know how to vote here I like the second animation better but there is no ending in that one. No one won so by default I suppose Setto would win...... O__O

I don't see a time when I did that <.<
As for sound, I literally made the poll when I finished the anim because the due date is today >.>
But I probably should have at least added musik >w<

Setto you really should change to flash dude :s Pivot just makes it so limited, even if you're a good animator you cant do 1/10 of the things you can do in flash, trust me I started in pivot too back in the day and I changed to flash as soon as I discovered it, it just gives you so much freedom and easy access to everthing, even if you're not that good with it, which you're probably not, because you're used to pivot now, you really need to change because you're going to lose to the majority of the animators because in general: Flash anims>Pivot anims
So yeah, I'll have to go with Beats on this one, simply because of the smoother movements, music, sfx, better quality (again, because of pivot you dont really have a chance on that aspect), and overall a better animation.
Don't quit tho! Change to flash, try to practice, make a lot of tests, animate THE SHIT out of that program, and just try to get better at Flash and when you think you're good to have another run, hit the RHG again and test your skills, hope you have a nice day, good luck to you two ;)

Yeah, I didn't have time to put in an ending because I've been really busy, so I literally finished it right before the due, just like setto. Both of ours ended up more like a speed battle since I've been busy and setto's computer messed up and he lost his files. I actually haven't seen his yet tho lol. Imma watch it now.
Edit: I watched it and honestly setto, you've improved quite a bit. Lol I like that part when you have a troll face. Nice job :) I'll try to teach you flash when I get the chance.

Meh it was okey xD
Also seagull, can you make me a tutorial of flash 4 newbs? because I was staring at it like 2 weeks ago And I couldn't even find the "add frame" button ;-;
The sad thing is I never found it.

So Setto you did good and you actually had a clear ending , unlike someone I know:mad: . Though even though your effects were decent you sill need to work on stiffness .
Pretty good job Setto , even though I voted for Beats . So any way that was the best advice that could come from a beginner like me .
P.S that kinda did get me mad though . Seagulls animation was awesome and then he just ended it , I'm starting to regret voting for him , and i'm really interested on how he would have finished it . Though good job both of you .:p
Edit : Also the clouds in Setto's Air attack moves faster when he does his Combo ... WEIRD.

Hmm... Now here's another battle that's giving all of us, the voters, a hell of a hard decision... Here's my opinion :
Setto : Very smooth for a pivot user. I have a feeling your battle was longer then Seagull's, since the combos were slower, so they were a bit more realistic and smooth. I'm not gonna count on the fact that Pivot is (at least, from my experience) a lot harder to use than flash. Unlike Seagull, that you're good at animating the scarf, well, at least decently. There were some facial expressions, not so many actually, but they fit the animation, just so it feels at bit deeper then plain 2D. You didn't make a whole scene for them too, so that's a major plus for you. Effects when it comes to the sword slashes and the blinks were really nicely done. You attempted to draw some background, I have to count that in too. As an addition to that, you also launched the battle into the air, and gave yourself a chance to provide an excellent finisher to the combo. After every hit, you displayed a decent reaction as well, and the battle course was really natural. You truly have improved a lot, and I'm rooting for your next animation. Also, thanks for crediting Slaughterous lol.
Seagull's part : I was very impressed after seeing the preloader you modified, and the intro you added your character too, it actually made me wonder, how good will the rest of the animation we even more. The battle started, and you made some very itchy transitions from the pure combat, to just standing and making a pose. The combat was mostly flash 'n' dash style, which, in my opinion, displays you're not capable of landing a good combo without your character disappearing and showing up and the other side of the target, which has nothing to it. No gravity. No force. No impact. I have to give you a point for syncing, but as good as a joke that waiting for the chorus part was, maybe you shoud've made the battle a bit longer before that. And why make such a big deal out of the whole chorus thing, if you're gonna end the battle there? I get it, you wanted to display your skill of making facial expressions and mobile effects during an immobile scene, but that's not what wins fights.
After examining both of the battles thoroughly, I can only say, my vote goes to Setto. Simply, a battle well executed.

Gonna vote for Beats. Like the BGM and other stuff. Setto may be you have to put some BGMs and SFXs to your animation but setto nailed it, good luck you two.
