Oh and also, I found a funny exploit thingy(I don't know exactly how it works but this is my guess):
Me and my friend got in a T7 platoon, leader of the platoon goes in challenge battle, other one in normal battle.(something like that)
and then we got listed as T3 robots, instead of challengers. then we faced T6-7 challengers with our T7 bots together with T3 bots.

I average 9-12k rp on a win and 4-6k on a loss.

This thing made Tier 8 my bitch. After around 300k in upgrades I finally got my RP up to my first million. The bot itself is probably already worth a million.

Come update time, I'm swapping ALL the tier 7 armor out for tier 8 armor. Which by my calculations will cost about half a million. Then I get to spend the other half a million making it tier 9.

New game mode is out. I've played on every map a couple times. Two things!

1: Throw away your tank treads, they're too fucking slow, way too fucking slow. Use any other kind of movement over treads.

2: Balance out your armor, now you're more liable to be hit from behind or on top. Especially as the game goes on and people learn your bot and its weak spots.

I have an idea for a flying smg walker that uses like 9 radar jammers. I could fly inside fusion towers and cling to the inside of the dish and shoot them down from the inside.

You wont be able to do a lot in the new game mode.

I think the general consensus is that everyone hated sky snipers.

Hell yeah man, rail guns are important to have.

so i played the new game mode for a bit

found that:
- nobody wants to play as a sniper any more because they're the absolute worst for destroying structures (you always end up reloading just as the enemy rocks up to stop you from destroying it)
- there's a ton of flyers just waiting to take advantage of your team's lack of snipers... so if you DO have a good sniper you have a huge advantage
- medics aren't really as useful when you can usually just go into your base and heal up... or die and respawn. medi guns are also mediocre for destroying structures

i ended up changing up my ski bot a bit... it still has a fuckton of tesla blades and hits 200mph whenever it feels like it, but now i've got a few cannons as well. so i'm a high speed hit and run vehicle now. looks like i'm best suited to defending, abusing my speed to get to points to protect them, murdering a guy or two while they're distracted, then returning to base and healing before doing that all again.

i did try sniping for a bit but it just didn't work out with my skis. i think if you do choose to snipe in the new game mode, the key point is to not try to take points. you provide your allies with cover fire, while THEY take points, instead. you're all likely to live a lot longer that way.

anyway, i'm still T8 for now. once i can afford some more t9 cubes i'll probably be able to join you guys.

So far in the new game, I kept my tank treads and I've survived long enough to capture points [though there are bugs that cause a fusion tower to not be captured AT ALL despite having no crystals left]. I'm thinking of redesigning the entire tank later on though, to keep up with the times.

I agree with the railgun vehicles. I once played against a team mostly composed of flyers that decimated us. We could shoot them out of the sky but not as much as they took us out. They got to shut down our shields more than twice that round.

The good thing is that the RP and Tech Points haul is a lot, getting a bit beefier on the tech side of things will be a bit easier.
