Finding out a person like Cami exists is a pretty life-changing experience for me. XD

Since I might as well say something on topic (as in the topic this thread was meant to be, not what it currently was being) at least once, one of the biggest life-changing events was early on in my life, not too long after I'd been diagnosed with diabetes. I was sleeping in my mother's bed (yes, mama's boy, there was also a power outage due to a thunderstorm and I was 6) and I had this weird dream. I was in this all white room with no doors, windows, nothing but walls I only knew was there because I could feel them. So, the strange thing about the dream was that I wasn't alone in the room: there was a spot of pitch darkness, which a few minutes in, revealed itself to be a vampire. I realized it was a dream pretty quickly, and tried to force myself awake, but nothing worked. Not holding my breath, not pinching myself, not closing my eyes, nothing. I was soon picked up by the vamp, and this was one of those Nosferatu looking totally freaky vamps, and right as soon as I felt it's teeth bite into my neck, I woke up screaming, which woke my mother, and had her test my BG.

Turns out I was maybe 10 or so minutes from falling into a coma and/or dying due to having an extremely low BG. It was that day on that I fully understood how dangerous my diabetes could be, and how strangely prophetic my dreams could be. I've actually had a lot of prophetic dreams since then, but that's an entirely irrelevant, decidedly pointless topic to continue on.
