Well I was one of those type of people once (going past my last too avatars >.>) but you can't deny a game like sao would be interesting (hopefully not trapped because if that really did happen LITERALLY no one would try to escape even if they're talking shit like they would IRL.) But anyway the idea of SAO seems like a cool concept and I would really love to see it be made.

I won't lie, I would LOVE a game like SAO, I'm actually following one that's apparently in development on gamejolt, not sure how it will turn out, especially since its not a VR thing, but I'm hoping it's at least decent.

If SAO does come out and it is made by someone named "Kayaba Akihiko", would you still buy it?
That reminds me. How much would be the cost of a VR?

Rather than gaming, I'd use that for remote interaction.

Could be used for virtual tourism,

Would be great news for those physically unable to travel, or limited by financial costs (Could also be used to travel areas that are inherently dangerous, like remote forest areas, or anywhere impossible to reach.)

The Virtuix Omni is something like 699 dollars pre-ordered, and it's the closest thing to full VR we have now.
and screw that, I'm not hugely paranoid but that's just too much xD

Indeed indeed. You could potentially put someone on mars and have them look around if you could create a simulated environment through what the MARS Rover has seen. Even other planets if possible.

I think you'd need NASA's permision to gain acces to the MARS Rover's data

Or have a private company do it, imagine how much money you could make selling "tours on mars".
I mean have the private company collect their own mars data

I wouldn't say you'd make that much money cause you're just walking on a giant rock floating in space. Maybe astronomers will buy it. IDK

People pay money to have pictures of themselves on a fake mars.
Why the hell wouldnt they pay when they could take pictures of themselves on a REAL mars, and walk all around it.

Could be actually possible, Google's Street View being the first step to developing this.

Also heard about using this kind of technology for Mental Therapy,
saw some videos stimulating a warzone in order to treat PTSD.

Nah brah YUNO GASAI FTW!!!!!!!!!!!

Also when it is released it'll probably be around 700$

and although hackers are an issue there is the option of private gaming and networks, as always your saftey would depend on your knowledge of the software. The whole eye nausea thing woulnd't occur it wouldn't be like a screen your watching but more of through your eyes like in a dream. When you turn your head really fast your eyes adjust accordinlly, it would be the same in-game. Also you wouldn't feel pain unless they programmed that in there. If you've ever had a dream where you were stabbed or hit by a bus (which i have) you dont feel pain its more like a slight bump, or light jab to the inflicted area.
