Hello everybody!
I am currently working on a One Shot inspired by the RHG world.
For the people that does not know, a one shot is bassicly a comic that is released in one story, one shot, to see if it is popular and maybe turned into a series in the future. We see it a lot in the manga world.

with that cleared, let's get into it!

BLAZE
A Raging Fire

Story:
This is the story of a character named Blaze who can use the fire element to fight. It tells the tale of a rookie fighter who gets to the top... Simple.

Progress:

Story (not the simpler one above, a written version of the one shot): 100%
Sketch: 43 pages
Final one shot: 0 pages

Screenshots:

Feel free to give away feedbacks.

I don't hold a lot of ground around here, but... I dunno. Plot seems kinda basic to me.

You're gonna need a plot twist or something.
Something to make it different from others.

I'm going to go ahead and call it before anyone else: This is going to fail miserably.

Sure then :) we'll see.
I have been doing that kind of stuff for a bit of time angel and I do not think it will fail. I might have to make the number of pages slightly shorter or longer but I will definitely do it and finish it.

The plot is simple? No, the setting is.
I did not literally copy the intire story since it is written on paper. What is labelled here as the story is just a summary.
I am currently working on getting a bunch of actual stickpage rhg involved at the moment but has for a plot twist, since this is a simple mainstream one shot, I do not think it would be necessary to make it overly complicated.
if you do have ideas however go ahead :D

Thanks for all of your opinions though.

That kind of behaviour is usually innate into all of us, but usually you should have the decency to not say anything about it to not offend or anything

You just openly admitting it doesn't put you under a good light -_-

I've never seen you draw anything other than stickfigures? Don't tell me it's going to be a stickfigure comic or something

It is a stickfigure comic.
The reason being that it is based off the RHG world. Because it is stickfigures, I can also concentrate on the fights and backgrounds.
Also, unlike normal stickfigures, they will have facial expression, a bit like the comic cam made, and they will have hands and other shit...

It might be easy but do keep in mind i can do actual drawing of people and shiet, I just think stickfigures are appropriate for this specific One Shot and the website itself.

Also angel, i don't see how it will fail because i sketched 3 pages out of 60? (now at 5)
If that is what you imply obviously. If it isin't, then i would love you to give an actual critique instead of just saying That's shiet is gonna failz.

Thank you for everyone that took the time to respond.

If you're going for a decent quality then 60 finished pages will you quite some time and quite frankly it will probably be boring as hell by the 6th page. I'm not trying to discourage you, I'm just implying that you should set more realistic goals rather than projecting numbers for how long it's going to be when you haven't even finished the story writing.

It is going to be around 60 pages. As I said, it might be a bit less or a bit more, I do not know yet.
The goal is around 60 pages though...

If I cannot make it interesting, I will redo it over and over again until it is nice!
I will remember what you said though, thank you for your opinion : )

I don't understand if it should be boring because it has stickmen in it or because of something else I can't picture in my mind
How is 60 pages a irrealistic goal? :/

On a second side, GeneralZ, what do you specifically mean by "giving ideas for characters"? I mean, are they just to occupy spaces? Are they relevant? Do they have some kind of prefigured role in this? ecc.

Most of them would be friends or ennemy fighters, though since i found people who accepted to have their actual RHG in the One Shot, I need less ideas for characters.

By the way, it's rare that i do fights when i draw, is there any tips on how to make it dynamic?
